Home For A Day

Weekend:

Trained bright and early on Saturday morning. We were "promise(d) that this session will not inclue shuttles/suicides of TOKs" but we did agility fitnesss! =(

Giant shopped, brunched, got upset over the thought of losing my 22$, but eventually found out A took it. And she used it to buy 5 bottles of Po.cari sweat, of which only 1 was for me! Okay, but I got the money back in the end.

Game in the afternoon, though, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! With composure and really awesome support on attack/covers for defence, we won! :D Strained the quads muscle though. =(

Family dinner at Chinatown where 5 of us had, stingray, claypot rice, yupianmeefen! , orhlua, char kway teow! And of course, sugar cane! :D
Really yummy dinner with awesome family time. =)

Wasted my day on Sunday though =( With the excuse of a strained and painful quad,
I stayed home and spent half my day on the phone. But thank you Yanns, J, Ding anyhow. :D

--------------------------------------------

School has been so-so, the typical monotony of a tertiary student. You wake up, head for lessons, fall asleep, wake up confused, return tired. The familiar faces I see each day, the company I have, has been shrinking. With everyone (including me) self declaring the week, or day, e-learning and choose home/hall over school for revision.
As I have repeatedly whined about, this sem is the most fucked up ever, and hence I'm only taking 3 cores. (Six next sem! Argh) With that, no excuse for not starting revision yet, and no excuse for mediocre grades, yes?

Was supposed to head home this week, but a casual phonecall came with a solution, yay. Called Mommy on Tuesday, thought it'd be better, since she wouldn't have to send me to school today bright and early! But anyhow,  she messaged me a little later:

"Just to let you know I'm baking strawberry cheesecake. Thought you coming home. Hee :)"
-
"Come home lah. Actually I bake for you to take to school tomorrow I send you back."
-

And I did, we baked it together though. I've lotsa pretty (maybe not) pictures of the before, during and after process. We did, cornflake cookies, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry peach cheesecake, pineapple tarts. Yumyumyum. =)
So I didn't study in the end, but who cares.

(Stupid bluetooth isn't working well so I only managed to upload one picture. )

--------

Just yesterday, a peer fell in the LT and was pretty badly injured. Then suddenly the entire row sitting infront of us disappeared. If I were to be the casualty, would the whole row have disappeared too? Or would self-interest, once again, come first.

Out Of Words.

(edited)
One Year Ago, This Year,
"Let's show our BRACES!"
The SWEETEST ever.
Oh Yes, incidents worth remembering on the way to Zong's,
Incident No. 1:
"That guy looks like he's going for the party."
"Oh yeah, and he's walking in that direction too!"
**
Then at Zong's,
"Hey, seems like the red shirt guy isn't here afterall."
"Oh yeah, hahaha."
Moments later, he walks out from the toilet.
"Omg, hahaha"
Incident No. 2:
"Oh no, what if we really bump into them while we're walking in?"
"Actually I think they'd cab in."
"Well, okay. I'll just check to see if they're alighting from any bus."
And while walking,
*FREEZE*
"Ohmygawd, do you hear a cab?"
"Ohmygawd, yes."
"Ohmygawd, the cab stopped."
"Ohmygawd, do you think it's them?"
"Ohmygawd, I don't know!"
*turns around slowly*
"I SEE TIFF, I SEE TIFF!"
"Ohmygawd, let's runnnnn!!!"
*scrambles into some side road which leads to houses
"Eh wrong one, wrong one!"
"Okay, nvm, let's hide!"
And so, we called Tiff,
and YES IT WAS THEM.
BUT Zong was blindfolded, and had Ipod shoved in his ears so he couldn't hear.
Phew,
In the end, the minor tip off wasn't caused by us!
Happy Birthday, Zong.
You are BLESSED indeed. In all ways. (:

----
Sun/Mon at her balcony (we wanted to include the stars in the sky, but yeah a little too ambitious)

-----

Today, I wanted to shop but didn't get much,
visited Central and felt more like we were in an abstract building with Harry Potter escalators that connected across the buildings,
went To The Left, To The Left to Chinatown,
left my poor company bored and clueless and dizzy among the shimmery beads and charms,
transported back to old times sitting in coffee houses having traditional Chinese desserts,
shopped at Auntie places,
came home and gorged myself stuff,
watched A Walk To Remember,
continued picking photos up from the floor cos they're falling off again and again,
renamed my music files (this time on WMP) for better orientation,

ROAR.

Deep Blue Something

So I've realised that things have been happening really fast lately.
So fast that I've barely the time to catch my breathe/catch up on my sleep.
I haven't even written my obligatory New Year post! ):
And you know what, I'm not even working yet.
So I really don't know what's all the things that I'm busy with.

-

So from 5-7th, I was isolated with the rest of the class away at one end of Singapore, by the sea (not really), cast away on the second last room on the second storey of Block C. 1335.

Bbq Fire Starters.

We barbecued, ate, and talked all the way past midnight the first night. Catching up on lives, holidays, and even our after-life. That really gave me goosebumps anyway. It was scary la.

Typical activities to survive the night: Talkcocksingsongplaymahjong, cards, we watched Scary Movie 1 and One quarter of Casino Royale on Tc's Apple Notebook (!!!)You can't really see from the picture but there were 6 (of is it 7?) of us on the bed and it was soo squeezy. So some of us left the (freezing) room for McDonalds at 7am where I bumped into Sweets and fell asleep for one hr after drinking HOTMILO. =D

We went back to wake everyone up for breakfast. But in the process, those who went to Mc, fell asleep. But only for 2 hours? Downtown East gives 4 complimentary passes to either Escape or Wildwild Wet each unit. But there were more who wanted to go, so we sent our two most handsome guys (coughcough) to try their luck in getting more tickets. And they came back with 25.

So all of us managed to enter both Wild Wild Wet and Escape for freeeeee where we sat every ride and had the times of our lives under the hot sun leaving us red and burnt:The girls weren't in proper swimwear so we couldn't sit 2 slides cos no tshirts were allowed. And while the guys sat that, we spent our time at the Children's playground sitting every Child slide. Haha. Most of us sat the Samsung U shaped ride twice and OHMYGAWD, the first drop is really freaky shit. Everything else was all right. Sitting a ride with Gary = damn exciting. Cos our float moves exceptionally faster and the thrill factor triples. Whoo!

We went to Escape dripping wet from Wildwild Wet but we didn't really care. I wanted to try the Inverter at Escape but it was closed. We sat everything else. Oh except the flume ride. But that's definitely nothing compared to the Samsung slide. The Haunted House was P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C. To think when we were going in, I was grabbing on to Becca and Gary. But gosh, I think our own guys scared us more than the Haunted House.

& Becca and I sat the Family Roller Coaster 6 times! Hah! And we concluded that Carriage 6 is the most shiok! =D

Dinner sucked cos Subway ran out of bread and we split up. We were too tired to go Night Cycling, so we wasted the night away. Until we concluded there was nothing/no where to go and some of us went downstairs to play "I never". But with water. ThankGod it was water though. Cos if it was Booze, I won't be sitting there anymore. Would probably be standing by the drain since I drank almost everytime someone said, "I never ......" ):

We were dozing off, so slept at 4 and got disturbed at 930 by the management's morning call. Hah. And I had Subway in BK for breakfast (!!) So filling but yummy.

Yup, so do I.

Yesterday, F gave me a morning call but I still fell back asleep til 1235 when I was supposed to meet her at 1230. Here's my travel details for the day:

Home --> Dhoby --> Spore Shopping Centre --> Peace Centre --> Cathay --> Dhoby --> Orchard --> Forum --> Chinatown (Manhattan House) --> Chinatown Point --> People's park Complex --> Orchard --> Far East --> Dhoby --> Peace Centre --> xxx Play ground --> Little India --> Home.

I passed the same stretch of road (The Penang Road - Orchard MRT) at least 3 times yesterday. And I spent a grand total of $6+ solely on transport yesterday.
And I didn't forget to tap my card!

Brought F to make dirt cheap specs where I bumped into GuiHao and was damn tempted to make a new one- Brown and Blue. Damn nice, damn cheap. But damn scared Mom kills me too. ):
Then we walked around and around and started accesory-making shopping. She bought herself a giraffe iron on. So cute =D

I secretly love Chinatown, anyway.
Last time for the food, now for even more reasons.

While on the phone with Y and waiting for Pong after I left F, suddenly among the bustling crowd, I spotted some awfully familiar retard walking up to me with his jaws dropped who squeezed me so tight I couldn't breathe. I was pleasantly shocked but I couldn't scream til I hung up.

Dinnered at the Turkish Restaurant where Sweets & I ate til we could pop then the girls left to shop at XXX (secret!) but I didn't find anything I liked.

They left for chalet, I left for home -insert a million sulks-
Then the retard called and I found myself under the stars feeding mosquitoes. Hah.

Allright, I'm gonna go for driving! =D
It's raining ):

And fuck, I miss school.
At least back then, you have a purpose.
