I Don't Know

how I manage to incubate my thoughts sometimes.

Emotions are common; they are not exclusive to each individual. While one is hurting, another far away could be feeling the same, possibly worst.
How is it that the motion of life, albeit separate, can be so largely similar?

I've been incubating thoughts and actions for years that I've always feared to act on, to shout it out loud.
In all honesty, I don't believe I am there yet. Baby steps that take years to progress...

Been out from sports for a month now. I've never been more patient than I am today, and I have no idea how I braced this month.
In fact, I don't really remember how everything happened - the chronology, the pain, the ordeal, the emotions.
I just want to get by, get past, and forget.

Comeback Kings

I get a week off work this week! Not because I'm trying to skive, but because the equipments aren't available so there's nothing to be done anyway.

I have to backtrack more than a week of events and activities, kinda hard for me to pen them down now actually.

I'm finally coming to terms that season is over; we had an awesome preseason leading up to IVPee and now it's hard to say goodbye. The Aussie trip definitely benefitted us, both in terms of game sense and team bonding. After 11 days, we came back a completely transformed team- we were closer, and stronger.

"Imagine you're in Heaven and you're playing touch." - that's what Coach said before every game in OZ. We were stressless, fearless, got thrased upside down. But we always picked ourselves up and hung on for our lives (we were only playing with 11)
And as always, by tradition, the best games are not caught on camera.

We lost IVPee, but this season was AWESOME. It barely felt like we did, though yes the colour of our medal reflects the team standing. I wasn't upset when the final whistle went- it didn't feel like we lost. Of course there was a tinge of disappointment- I could hardly believe that we lost but we never gave up and I'm so proud of ourselves.

A friend labelled us the "King of Comebacks" after what happened in both semis and finals. In Semis we were down 2-0, then caught up 2-1, equalized 2-2, down 3-2 and eventually equalised 3-3 just before the hooter went. Sudden death til 3v3 and we proceeded to finals. It wasn't a smooth ride up, but we made it.

Then Finals: we were 2-0 down by first half, 3-0 down just as the second half started, then caught back up 3-3. We lost sudden death upon the first tap though. Guess you can never be lucky a second consecutive time.

I told the team I was proud of them; during S.unig we were intimidated and under too much pressure and fear. This time, we played fearlessly, and proven to be mentally strong. S said it doesn't feel like we lost cos we played like a champion team (finally), and I guess he's right.
=)

Apart from Ivpee, I've been spending too much time in Hall. Am officially roomless after the new roomie shifted in last night. Due to all the IH track/road relay (dreads) training, am back with lotsa time to waste.

Hence, I've been room hopping! Attended BabyJ's elective with her on Monday cos I was bored shit, and spend lotsa nights with the successor over ipod games (Rotten apples!!)

Yesterday: Lunch with one of my favourite couples! G.ibby and S.iying at H.all13 (: then wasted time at N.IE library helping with English homework: simple present tense, perfective, progressive, active passive voice, Modal: degree of possibility, statement about the future.
Never knew English could be harder than it already is. =)

Dinnered with Penguin and the Loomies for the last time yesterday over Pizza and chicken wings =) Yums. Took lotsa pictures with the Blackbird =) I've yet to see the first roll of film and I'm already excited about developing my second roll! (:
Need to head down to the Bestie's soon to scan the pictures =)

Went down to Terminal1 to send our dearest CANG SANG the fish aka wongjingyu aka Federer's-nanny-to-be while she departs to the Land of Federer (Swiss!) (:
It was a 1am flight but TEAM LOVE > midnight cab fare so most of us went down anyhow =) Also celebrated Buddy Briggy's birthday while we were there. Team love is the best =)
Then 11 of us squeezed into a van as we embarked on the long journey back from ChangiAirport to PulauNtu. =( It was an achievement. (Y)

Dearest Road Rice also found out her MRI results yesterday: Complete ACL tear and partial MCL tear. Op to be done in March after 6 weeks of intense physio. Fat hugs for you dearest! Stay strong and I'll be here for you =)

Sporty, Mature or Girl Next Door?

Hi! I'm Miss Sporty. Balls, racquets, bats; you name it, I love it. I love a good workout and I'd like to invite you to join me someday. I'm Miss Sporty."
x12 (not including rehearsals)

That's how many times we had to officially repeat ourselves today at camp. I didn't stay long and I saw quite a bit of familiar faces. It was kinda awkward how the guys entered the rooms through the connecting toilet to where we were and almost every group would ask "Is that all?", or "What's the purpose of this?" at the end of our speech.
S was telling me how this guy made Miss Sporty his choice and he decided to play punk and ask, "YOU SURE NOT?!". It made the rest of them laugh, I would've if I heard it too. =)
And an old OG mate said Hi and identified himself. (Good thing he did cos he looked really different but I also managed to spot his name from his identity tag. MUAHAHA)

Left with S for Tampines after that. Imagine B.oonlay --> Tampines = ZZZZZZZ.
It was really a long journey, my friends who stay in Tampines but not hall are heroes! =)

And all that hassle for Saturday: getting extra jerseys, printing
new sets, getting ball, getting players, settling reg form, waking up early, it was all worth it.

Verrrrrrrrr-monster!
We did it.
We won.

Okay, so it wasn't exactly an official tournament, nor was it the full team but but but we still did it.
And I hope this boosts the team morale, and each player believes in themselves more than they did before.

Sonny couldn't play cos I didn't register her, and permission from the people of higher positions was denied too(: Sorry dear but it was for your own good(:

Watched the boys' u20 matches after YouthInTouch where we saw little girls WITH ABS running. Full-grown abs, like six packs and all. Boy are we embarrassed to call ourselves sports people when we look at these 8, 9 year olds. :\
Dinnered at Newton with my favourite chengteng to end the day(: Yumyums(:

Friday;
Dinnered with the so-called Spare-tyre boyfriend (haha) aka arthurlimjinghui and herngs. Everybody was late so we had very little time to eat :( Caught Personal Effects starring Ashton Kutcher and Michelle Pfeiffer (?). Bad choice of place to watch (Lido omg haha) but pretty good movie. If you're the type with patience for a slow show, or the type who likes artsy films, go catch it. I kinda liked it though the spare tyre was semi-bored and very, very restless(:

PS: SEETOHWEIYANN IS BACK FROM HAMBURG(ER)!! :D

Thursday;
Visited Sonny at home with the new MJ-inspired nose (HAHA) with balloons and gummies(: Made a new friend, NOZZZZY which is a yellow ____________ . (Can't quite decide if it's a cow, dinosaur, ox, or ... ? )
Then friendly over at Dover(:
And dinner at Clementi where we got lost in an unfamiliar area, heh.

Oh life's good again,
But school's starting in a little more than a weeeeeek.

Weekly Team Dinners.

I dived over a barely healed open wound, opening it further.

It's so gross and I didn't even get the point for touching down.
Had my teammates pile over me and my visor hit off my head.

But at least "that was a good dive". =)

We had to sit separately for Team dinner though, but it was still nice anyhow.
Usually it's just 5 of us. But today it was 9. (:

The swollen finger still hurts.

Whichever You Prefer.

Training on Wednesday was "Back - to - School" themed. We all came dressed in our JC jerseys and we were reeeaaallly colourful that day. It made training look bright and happy but the fitness/drills totally killed whatever was left.

We forgot to take pictures so we took this while waiting. (:

Thursday(night) was spent with no other than my favourite people from schoool. =D
From Prata to intended ice cream at I.cekimo (which was closed by the time we arrived), and then to prawning til 3ish. We spent more than 10$ on snacks to last us through the night, and caught a grand total of FORTY ONE PRAWNZZZZ.
Slightly into the first hour, we realised our net had many huge holes and thus 2 luckyshit prawns managed to escape. :( But we were on a rolll the next two hours and Brudder even caught a KING PRAWN!

It was definitely much more enjoyable than the first time I went. Somehow we couldn't get used to the amount of strength to be used so I managed to send two of the prawns I caught on an insane Reverse Bungee ride, concussing them as they hit the walls on the side. Chong even tangled up our rod with the lamps hung up.

We had fun feasting, but we finished them all up in less than half an hour.
Nothing tastes as good as when you've caught/cooked/earned them yourself. :D

Site recce on Friday was awesome. It was short, sweet, SPECTACULARR. We were in total AWE of the place, and it was so much nicer than what I remembered it to be..
Really. Awesome. (:

Then, that night, Mommy brought home her Third Daughter. (HAHA) Some little cute p3 kid who stayed over for the night. Both of them were sooo caught up with their Facebooking games, I was quite speechless. My mom is 5* (secret! hah!) and the girl is only 9!

Saturday; had an awful breakfast. :( I didn't get my waffles and everything was just so bad. Then we had our semis. Really important game. Victory would have been sweeeeeet, but we didn't work hard enough for it. The first time we played this team, we lost 4-2. Then we drew 3-3 the second time, and finally won 4-3, earning ourselves 2nd place in the table.
Yet, during semis we lost 5-4. It was so so close, the pressure was intense, everyone was flustered. It didn't help that we were screaming at one another, but the opposition deserved to win based on that 40 minutes. Tragic, but true. =(

Made my way down to S.omerset Residences to celebrate Liu's 21st! It rained and thus ruined the party plans by the pool and everything reverted back to the room. The birthday boy had pretty cupcakes in place of a birthday cake which was kinda cute. (Since he's a boy!)

Woke up bright and early for Funtouch today. We won! Black berries. Haha.
And the rest won u21 girls too! Even the Turf Babe was from our team, so awesome stuff.
Hate astro burns/ sun burns though. And yes, my middle finger is swollen from a boot-kicking action from I-can't-remember-who. =(

Caught T.erminator just now. It is definitely one awesome action packed film.
But it kinda made me nauseous. =(

Back to touch tomorrow with taped up fingers. AGAIN. Oh my. 4th consecutive day of Touch tomorrow. :( OK STOP WHINGING. Goodnight.

Talk Is Cheap.

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO MEAN THAT I'M ALREADY READY FOR EXAMS BUT HELL NO.

This weekend was very different from the last.

Last week, I rushed off class to H.omeTeam NS where the staff was ultimately unfriendly. Basically we made a wasted trip down, and now we the cheif programmers are in deep shit cos we have no accomodation for F.OC. =(
And like any other Saturday, I played touch, fell asleep, woke in time for dinner, ice cream treat & movie with S. We caught ... Shopaholic, which I thought was better than expected. Coincidentally bumped into my sister at the theatre so we had a lift home!
Sunday was spent with the dear ex-roomie, for just 1.5hours to celebrate her transition of a kid to an older kid. Haha. 21 or 12, you'll still be a kid to me! Heh.
And yes, it was a nice 1.5 hours. Short but enough(:

This week: Sushi buffet til 6-ish then supper at Prata house til 1-ish.
And (once again) like any other Saturday I played touch, sat under an umbrella to watch touch, was at turf while it was damn hot til it rained til it got sunny again, iced my thumb, waited half an hr for Mr. PresidentAw, watched S play for G.uinness against the Natnl team boys with PresAw, chomped for dinner, and studied (wow finally(: )
Today, was caught in the heavyheavy rain but decided to get drenched cos we were freaking hungry(: Spent the afternoon with Penguin. It's becoming a typical Sunday for us, and I kinda like it(:

Basically after sprained my thumb thrice in a week: Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, it has finally swollen and hurts big time. It's bloodclotted and hurts when I try to move it (therefore hurts when I write too) HENCE I have skipped Sunday training (again). Hah, I'm never gonna go for training until exams are over. =\

PS: I still want to chop my hair.
PPS: I feel like sleeping already but I have two CAs tomorrow, of which I haven't started one.

Finish What You Started.

We came up with ingenious plans to prank teammate(s), and our coach,

got all excited about it,
but in the end, THE WEATHER PRANKED US.

Fucken rain that lasted through the afternoon :(
We trained indoors but carried on with the prank (on Coach), and she was too focused on WTF happened to our training gear that she didn't notice everyone turn our backs to her and giggling away. Anyhoo, she was pissed x1000000 at our irresponsibility and "kept her eyes on the bag" cos she couldn't believe it.
(Ok, we took out ALLL our touch balls and replaced them with 1 basketball, 1 volleyball and 2 small spongey rugby balls)

I was a walking evidence of F = ma and P = F/A yesterday at training.
Large m contributes to large Force which results in High Pressure as the Area of my thumb is small small small. :( Painful.

Oh, had Macs strawberry oreo mcflurry today. It was awesome! Like a strawberry sundae + oreo mcflurry. :D Yums. Thank you! :D

Honest Juice.

I hate Sunday Nights. :( Hate the pre-Monday Blues, hate the feeling of coming back to school for yet another 5 days of torture, hate the academic information, hate school.

OK JUST WHINING.
(This is a bottle I brought back all the way from NZ. HAH. The orange juice is daaaaamn good ok. And I really like the bottle though it's just a sticker over some ordinary plastic case! :D )

-------------------------

Effectively did nothing over the weekend yet lack the sense of urgency currently.
I KNOW there's a million things I have to do, and should be doing but I can't get started, can't settle down.

My arms are still aching from Thursday's training (We had to do 50 long passes each, for both sides. = 100 long pass) and carrying Friday's shopping stuff from A.didas warehouse. (S and I spent 400$ altogether but he definitely bought more!! Haha)

I probably also ate more than what I'd normally eat in a week over the past 2 days:

Friday, Thai Food for lunch, (then I went home fell asleep watching webcast). Met Ahgong/Art/Yanns with S and had dinner at Little.part 1 (don't trust reviews, it isn't that good) which wasn't enough for the boys. Seventh H.eaven for dessert (must go!) then, to B.alestier for BKT. It's almost like we had Part 1 of the Food trail. Heh.

Saturday, Mac breakf, which we haven't had in a long time. (Not Mac, just weekend breakf)
D.empsey for touch after where it poured like mad. And I fucking sprained my thumb! But it's the left one this time, and it isn't as bad as the previous sprain on the right so ogays. But but, I really HATE PLAYING AGAINST BOYS.
Went back to SA.jc, wasted time watching the boys play touch, and we had Food trail Part 2.
Tpy's Fishball Noodles, Purvis' Beef Noodles, Maxwell for Orhlua/Porridge/Pigs organ soup where I ordered a really diluted cup of Strawberry/Mango juice, Eggtarts, U.dders for Ice cream. We wanted to go Thomson for BCM (!!) but we headed to Thom.son 800 instead for Soccer. (ManUtd lost. Seriously. It was really hard to watch. :( ) Had Wala's pizza after soccer/before rugby. Caught the first 10mins of R.BS 6nations finals and fell asleep. HAHA.

Sunday; after 4 hours of sleep and dozing off during service, I dabaoed BCM (!!!) from AMK's kickass store and went down to H.ave8. Of course it doesn't taste as awesome packed, but it finally satisfied S' craving which lasted for 2 days. So poor thing.
Then dinner at O.asis where I was forced to eat alot (I don't like the 'Skinny Talk' at the dinner table. Reeallly.) and was tempted with KOI (hahaha gee pang!!) but for the benefit of my health, I resisted. YAY. Good job phil. (:

Oh yes and I was phone-less the whole Saturday til after service on Sunday cos I absent-mindedly left my phone in the car.

I'm still tired from the lack of sleep and I've been having a resident headache.
Maybe it's like Griz's: "Tension Headache", the doctor said.

Happy Birthday Pong,
Happy Birthday Tingyi.

"The iliotibial tract or iliotibial band (or Maissiat's band) is a longitudinal fibrous reinforcement of the Fascia lata. It is attached to the midpoint of the external lip of the Iliac crest and to the lateral condyle of the tibia.

The part of the iliotibial band which lies beneath the Tensor fasciæ latæ is prolonged upward to join the lateral part of the capsule of the hip-joint.
The Gluteus maximus muscle and the Tensor fasciae latae insert upon the tract.
[edit]Clinical significance

Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS or ITBFS, for Iliotibial Band Friction Syndrome) is a common thigh injury generally associated with running. Additionally it can also be caused by biking, hiking or weight-lifting (especially squats).

ITBS is one of the leading causes of lateral knee pain in runners. The iliotibial tract is a superficial thickening of tissue on the outside of the thigh, extending from the outside of the pelvis, over the hip and knee, and inserting just below the knee. The band is crucial to stabilizing the knee during running, moving from behind the femur to the front while walking. The continual rubbing of the band over the lateral femoral epicondyle, combined with the repeated flexion and extension of the knee during running may cause the area to become inflamed.

ITBS symptoms range from a stinging sensation just above the knee joint (on the outside of the knee or along the entire length of the iliotibial band) to swelling or thickening of the tissue at the point where the band moves over the femur. The pain may not occur immediately during activity, but may intensify over time, especially as the foot strikes the ground. Pain might persist after activity. Pain may also be present below the knee, where the ITB actually attaches to the tibia."

City Of Sails.

Well, I had to write a summary of the trip for Wan.toks,

so I shall just cnp the email here, as my blog post. Hahah.

------------------------------------------

Hi Wan.toks! The Baby-toks are back from NZ! (:
It's a really beautiful place, the people are soo friendly and welcoming, and all of us enjoyed our stay there!

Sooo, we were gone for 10 days, of which we spent 2 travelling,
and played some pretty awesome touch almost every day we were in NZ!
The first 4 days were the Y.outh World Ch.allenge where we met with teams from NZ, Australia and South Africa.
We played both U20s and U18s, and lost pretty miserably, BUT we all felt the trip was still enriching, cos we learnt something from every team.
Each team we played with was very impressive, especially the Aussie teams, who were disciplined and structured, yet knew when to break away from it to play what's in front of them. We also met with an Australian coach, Carly, who gave us feedback on our game, and taught us new dirty tricks (heh heh).

For the Women's U20s team, our closest match was with South Africa's U18s (9-6), where we really stepped up our game. We started executing our moves properly, dummy-scooping, and playing their weakness to our advantage.

We also watched more impressive touch, between Australia and NZ, where we wow-ed and gasp-ed at their perfect long passes and diving techniques. Some games involved fights (like an NZ girl wanting to punch an Aussie guy), most games involved tension, and one Mens game was especially exciting when NZ played with only 5 men for almost the entire game (yet they had a rather good strong defence).
Why? Because, during an interception by an Aussie guy, an NZ guy ran to the sub box so that another sub could run out from the other end of the box, gaining 20m advantage, and catching up with the Aussie guy.
The ref gave the penalty touchdown, sent the NZ guy off, hence they played with only 5 for the rest of the game.

After the 4-day tournament, we moved on to play their clubs, who were also really good. Then we discovered their secret, which was to start playing young. Some of them start from as early as 8 years old, and some of the girls we played at the club side were only 12 (and already good at the game!)

We also ice dip every night in the already freezing wind, and wear our skins after every game (thanks Wantoks for the skins, again! We all love it and needed it). We carbo load everyday (potatoes, bread, pasta, :s) and don't sleep enough (sleep about 11 something, wake up at 6).
We've also had lotsa injuries (sprained thumb, pulled hamstring, injured knee/shoulder/ankle) but were very well taken care of by the physios upstairs.

We also shopped til we dropped, where some ran like they never did before to an Adidas store about 200m away to get a visor for $10,
some bungy-ed (like Anne who refused to return to SG to say she chicken-ed out so she jumped anyway),
and all of us made friends with the people there.

But overall, in this trip, we definitely bonded, learnt something new about each other and about the sport. And in my opinion, the most important thing we took back from this trip is, that in this game of Touch, trusting the person next to you on the field, and having confidence with the person on the other end beats any fancy moves, or individual flair.

Ok, really long email. But NZ WAS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (:

-----------------------------------------------

And stuff to add on my own,
On the first day of the Tourney, I hurt my thumb again, went for physio then x-ray, cos it was suspected fracture (and I was so scared :( )
But the results came the next day and no fracture, so thankGod ((:
Subsequently, every game I play, my right hand is severely taped like a cast. Quite funny(: but it felt more secure.

And and and, the skies in Auck.land are soooo beautiful. They are filled with stars like those you see in the movies and never think exist. (: It is an absolutely beautiful sight(:

Eggcited But Scared.

OMG MY THUMB/PALM IS FUCKING GROSS.

It looks like a chicken drumstick/pregnant fish/pigeon leg.

Yeah you get the idea. Gross shit.
And I was forced to train in slippers and a swollen thumb yesterday.
@$)(%^*$%^&^%&*^&

But S's birthday surprise went pretty ohhhkayy considering the few hiccups,
and we couldn't prawn cos it was damn crowded :( But nvm, next time.

Here I am now, sipping Peach Red Tea with Pearls AND Jelly so I get quite a mouthful each 'sip', with less than 24 hours to go. :( Back to packing, then I guess? SULKS

PS: My jersey is too big for me but I got my 11 so who cares :D

"Do You Wanna Be A Quitter? Or Someone Who Stays"

One week ago,
Tuesday; we had pizza and macdonalds and htht after training til two in the morning,
with our shorts and underwear soaked from icedips. Then we lugged the huge green bin back all the way from CanA.

Wednesday; Yanyi crashed IS training (it was fun though!), then we starved while waiting for the Bff and Spacemedic0016 (haha) and had lunch at 3. Then my stomach/digestive system threw a tantrum (diarrhoea) and the rest of the body screamed for rest. Decided to give training a miss (despite the coin flipping's decision to not skip) and slept. Woke up with a fever and found myself in deep shit. But then again, I didn't quite care.

Thursday;
the cousins/aunts were back from cruiseee. Shopped a little in town before the friendly (omg the blue top from topshopt and black top from fcuk :( ) Played a pretty awesome + fun game with the boys down at Rpeeee.
Cabbed down with wet shorts/underwear/shirt/skins (totally freezing!) to Laopasat and had only chicken wings and squid for dinner. =( Then headed back to Ritz for the rest of the night and baby-fashion-show-watched til we felt sleepy and Shanniee stayed over! :D

Friday; woke up to Macs, headed down to Full.erton, then more shopping, more babysitting, more Macs and lotsa Starbucks. S came later with a surprise (skins!!) and he took over the babysitting (or baby carrying in this sense). And we bumped into lotsa people: "secret daughters?".
Haha. Had some Mega Seafood Feast for dinner but it wasn't as yummy as it looked. PSP-ed like mad the whole night with lotsa A.pe Academy challenging. Then we said our final goodbyes(:

Saturday; slept in, caught S's game (awesome game!), tossed in bed til late :\
Sunday; wet, wet, wet, cold. Prayed for rain, and training to be cancelled. Got the first, didn't get the second. Boohoo =(
Then I watched Love Actually til I couldn't stop crying (haha)

-----------

This week,
Monday; caught the Bestie for breakf before she left for Europeeee, that lucky girl. I love you, Seeef! :D Then met Pong, and we ate til we popped (though we shared a meal and didn't intend to binge at all). Then, the very screwed up friendly.
Then D, as usual, ohsonicely cabbed down to check up on me(: And we did what we used to always do, but haven't done in a really long time. ;) Thanks for everything, as always, Love.
I love you, Ding! :D

Tuesday; CP meeting at Starbucks. We're almost done, and I hope we don't need to meet on Thurs anymore :D Caught the very last quarter of Basketball IH, then trained with a new area taped up.

"That's new. What happened?"
"Uh, I don't know, It just hurts."
--

Coach and I had a very good talk after training, together with J and A.
"It is just how much you want it."
She gave me the green light to make my own decision and assured me not to think/worry too much.
But I am still indecisive.

We ordered Macs (again :( ) to Fifteen and ate at the lounge, with aircon (hence freezing with our shorts &underwear wet again..), television, and a mini htht.

When you can't find strength from within, you draw it from others.
"It's only three more weeks, Phil."

The Damage Gives You Hell

Sunburnt, Hurting left leg (after getting knee-ed),

A little less flabby, headache,
Aching, superdupertired.

A morning/early afternoon in the sun and I'm back to black. (Well, somewhat.)
And omfg, my second platypus burst!
All thanks to Al. Boo, I hate you for now. >=(

I barely studied today. Forget about playing N.tl finals =(

PS: Omg, mac for dinner again. It is satanic.

----------------

Yesterday:
A last minute decision to head home was changed,
Lamian XLB at JayPee for dinner, and ice cream, ice cream! :D
THEY ARE OPENING A STARBUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY! Something to love about the West. :D

No Pain, No Gain.

Peanut slab from aussie from jean when she came back :D

Kiddo's swiss.otel mooncake which she left in the fridge when she came over to hall but I wasn't in, hahahah.

The last of the Seventh Comm.

Chee.kychocolate
12 pieces of guilt (:

OUR PHOTO IS FINALLY ON THE WALLLL!

New boots and, new laces!

PS: What I've been trying to prevent the whole week; injuring of the other ankle, actually happened during the warm up of S.unig. How mother unlucky. I think the tiong is of extreme bad luck to me, everytime she shifts back something bad will happen.
But anyhoo, I'm stubborn. Tried jogging it off, got it taped and cold sprayed before every game, sucked it up and played. Now it's as swollen as my left ankle (grrrrrrr) and it hurts reeaaal bad. =(

PPS: But whatever the pain, it was worth it. We kept our title; S.UNIG CHAMPIONS YO!

zero conceded touch downs as targeted. Sudden death or not, a win is a win. (:

3words/8letters, &I'myours.

The Pact:
For three days,
G not to be bitchy,
P not to swear.
The tempt: Subway cookie for the winner.

----

Weeekends; hate how they come and go so quickly each time.

Caught Wall e on Friday. Absolutely loveeee it. (: Really awesome how, with that little speech, emotions and thoughts were put across. A really really heartwarming film (:

Longjohn breakf then W.tl on Saturday under the sun (finallyyy)! Played an extremely tiring match with yoU.w.c and drew 2-2. Disappointing =(
Thought both teams were really foul, screaming at each other and the refs. I remember limping out and telling a ref off in her face, then hobbling to Greg for ice. Extremely bad attitude, plus we're gonna be team mates. =S

Physio thereafter, where I learnt my still-swollen-after-two-weeks ankle is going to take a month or two for recovery, and isn't a sprain, but something like a misfit joint. =(
Good news is, training may resume but need to tape tape tape. Which reminds me, need to get more strappal! =(

Oh, and while waiting for my parents at Macs, for the first time in my 20 years,
I met and greeted the 4 characters of M.acD.onalds! Ronald, the Hamburglar, the Birdie, and the Purple-thingy. Pretty cool. Didn't manage to catch a shot of them though =( I was too caught up with my ice cream cone. Heh.

Sunday; too sick to get out of bed (almost) the whole day. Had to skip N.t.L training early in the morning. Eternally guilty (since it starts this Friday) but don't quite have a chance cos I'm probably not in the condition to train either.
Hence, wasted the day in bed, zero work completed over the weekends.

Phil is counting down to recess weeek.

Murphy's Law.

And the words he said, keep resounding in my head;
"Hang in there, my strong baby."
