Discovery.

So just like every camp,
I say the same thing: I miss you, Melz. =(
I guess I've had the best first-time experience with Melz and Yana.
We fought and quarrelled and had a major teacher-leader war which involved practically every other leader in camp... but it was undeniably one of the best. (:

The kids this week are.. well, not that cute.
And we have to scream at them every other hour.
Camp this year is different; taking an upper primary class and working with two other boys.

Anyhow, we went to Snow City today and I felt like my lips were frozen and gonna drop off.
The kids had frostbites (it was -60deg there and I had to tie their shoelaces without my gloves inside), cried when snow was thrown at them, etc.
And I fell head down and bit my tongue, fuck.

So here's the story; I kinda want to remember it:
Keith fell off the tyre while coming down the slide (which is, pretty steep) and tumbled down (like Hansel and Gretel, haha) so when I got off, I walked over to check if he was fine. Pulled him in so the other kids coming down won't crash into him but some bitch of a kid collided into me right at my legs so I fell and hit my head. Fuck, talking about it still reminds me of the pain. It felt like I had a five second concussion or something. Hah.
And to make things worse, we had a fucked up Bus uncle who carries no handphone, argued over our destination and time to leave. He kept insisting on coming at 12 when I told him 1230 so we decided to just let him wait. Wait, he did indeed, and he left us stranded in the rain with 22 kids whining about how hungry they were. Grrr. I was seriously fuming mad.

PS: Yesterday's training was good! :D

Here Comes, June.

The Best Thing That Happened Today: The pretty long webcam conversation with The Bestfwen over my faulty msn/pixelated Skype screens.
Omg I miss You Seef!! =(((

DayOne of DeeVeeCee started today, while I survived on (still) very little sleep carried over from the weekend. It was a pleasant surprise to see Jodi there though, but there were far too little familiar faces this camp.
My only consolation(s): There's Maya, Yana, Yanns for company, and Snow City to look forward to. B8 is made up of Mr. Shy (shai la), Harry Potter and Jiejie Phil. Haha.

---

Moments to take away from the weekend:
Wasting time at a wet and muddy Turf City refereeing, Idling around Tpy Hub making a crucial decision, thunderstorm and idling around Potong Pasir, random donuts craving and Hougang Mall, Mango Pomelo Dessert, Ikea = 9 Meatballs + 2 Chicken wings, Missed S who was picked up in a cab before I could leave my house, Debating over the phone with Griz over our temptations (haha!).

Rushing out of my house, a beeping speed limit reminder, one very eager passenger, one very tolerant driver, Changi V, White tents, "Adidas light", excited crowds, a familiar face, sweaty hugs, long queues, green light sticks, one last goodbye, supper at Jalan Kayu, Milo Dinosaur, 7am call, 9am morning call, Mc breakfast, two sleep deprived souls, church.

First Commandment, a Love so strong, a Love that covers our sins, Griz's home, Griz's car: two wrong turns and mounting kerbs, Narnia @ Vivo.
Potong pasir Duck Rice, 147, HL 500ml milk pack, P.S. I Love You.

630am cab ride.

PS: MOO KEN COW, YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS ALOT!!

"I can't believe I'm getting high on water."

Club dinner was umm, boring.
There was a thick, bold line separating the rookies and experienced,
what Su'd say: Alumni, and us,
what I-don't-know-who said: Under 28s and the rest.

We were deliberately late, yet were the earliest.
"How do you be early when you're already late?" Quoteunquote Captain Ros.
It barely lasted two hours and though I have more than 100 pictures to sum up the night,
it was more of self entertainment, and divided company.

Lunch, on the other hand, was nice (:
Though Angie and Sijie (aka the lead of the day) pangsehed us, we still had fun. (WITHOUT YOU GUYS!! HEE HEE HEEEEE)
Found no cause of excitment while shopping though, such disappointment.
Neither did we spot any worthy Tanglin Supermarkets or Cold storages. Mama shops are not worth noticing so yeah.
Town was just wet wet wet. So were my slippers and feet. =(

Oh, and we bought Siti a SPONGEBOB (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) kaleidoscope as a Microphone for Best Sop Award. We walked practically the entire Taka but couldn't find something similar to a mic so we settled for that. Tired. Legs.

Home and HUNGRY!
Can't wait for supper. =)))
But must be at Turf tomorrow at 9am >=(

Pixels From Last Week.

Thursday,

friendly with my juniors back at the block C shitty field. Played like crap, felt like crap, team dinner was crap.

Friday,

no photos from CG Retreat. Had a fun night Saboteur-ing, Citadels-ing, For Sale-ing, watched an inspirational 20min clip about a baby who survived a car crash incident (no, not Harry Potter) and despite being 80% burnt, carried on with his life and even got married.Saturday, Yanns' birthday, of which plans just kept changing. Heh, but glad we still met my dear. (:The seeded Marathon runner. (Click to enlarge picture and check out number tag)Monday,

Trojan to Tequila! Half of the GLs this coming camp.

Tuesday,

Caught Indiana Jones at Vivo while attempting to shop during the Gss! Argh but no, didn't get anything. Mistook a mouthguard for retainers (Thought my Nantuki ? Nectar drink corroded my 500$$$ plastic mouth piece) and ended up spoiling the 25$$ mouthguard. Heh.

Yesterday,

Balestiered for BKT :D and Udder-ed for Ice Cream after the friendly without Team, but with Ahgong and Fellow Eight. Udder's alcoholic ice cream is, as it suggests, PREMIUM man! :D

I am currently craving for: the cookies from The Cookie Room (? Is it? I can't remember the name of the shop) at Esplanade, and durianssssssssssssssssssss.
But must wait for some people to recover from their sorethroat/flu/cough/whatnot first. =(

So here's how I spent my day in the end:
Kway chap brunch, collection of Goodie Bag stuff, Harry Pottered for an hour while rolling around the cold floor, forced myself to sleep while soaked in fits of cold sweat, "so fucking miserable", chicken mushroom pie + warm soya bean milk.

Touch Footie, Not Touch Rugger.

So yesterday,
we survived four quarters of 10minutes, with only two subs.
We were deliberately exhausted before the game,
and were made to put up with contradicting refs regarding the scoreline boundaries; it cost me a fucking try. Ughhhhh.
But anyhow, I guess we did what we could, and,
Haven't felt like this in a really, really, long while.

Then yesterday, Coach was so insistent on us using the right terminologies.
Scoreline, not tryline.
Touch down, not try.
Obstruction, not sheparding,
Touch Football, not Touch Rugby.

Gonna collect goodiebag stuff for TOUCH ATTACK in a while.
(If you haven't signed up, do so nowww!)
And maybe spend time with Harry Potter. =D

Intoxicated.

W: "Why do people say 'rock my socks' ?"
P: "Uhh.. Because it rhymes?"
W: "But I always read it as 'rock my cock'. "
P: "Ok los, then next time you can type 'XXX rock my cock' on your msn okay?"

--

W: "So are you coming to send me off?"
J: "Errr, I don't song(4) ni(3) fei ji (aeroplane), I fang(4) ni(3) fei ji (aeroplane) ok?"

--

Canvassing today was a "nightmare come true". (quoteunquote Junx)
The only good times to take of it were: Sitting by the playground enjoying our Cornetto, entertainment moments from W, and supper at Holland V.

Things feel slightly different, we cannot deny the changes around us.
I may have resumed a seat I've long missed, but the position I assume is no longer the same.
It's not that I want things to be like the past, I think I'm everyone's happier the way things are now.

We're somewhat excited for the coming FOC. It's gonna be huge.
Well, not literally as in the number of people. But the events.
SP Night at Powerhouse! Can you imagine? (((:
+ 2 free drinks and lots and lots of beer thanks to sponsors.
PLUSSSS, it's gonna be open to public after Ninethirty.
Wild, wild, wild.
We'll live up to our reputation of wild; From Trojan to Tequila. (:

Why do,

Things always go wrong when we're apart.

**

Supposed to be spending some Motherdaughterlovin' time today but there's canvassing later.
I hate canvassing, but that's not a first.
What I hate most is last minute information. =(
Let's just get it done and over with. And I'm sorry Mom, though you won't see this. =(

Oh, and One More Thing:

HAPPY TWEN-TEENth BIRTHDAY,

MRSDARCY YANNS DEAREST!

Love You!

(look, I found a decent picture among the stash of our extremely unglam ones! :D)

तीन

So I got a phonecall at midnight and was led to a position overlooking the little grass patch beautifully lit with strategically positioned yellow lightsticks just below my block.
Then I was picked up to East Coast Road for tea,
and had an aching tummy from laughing too hard and a saliva-stained wrist that unintentionally left a heart shaped imprint on a pair of blue boardshorts while I struggled to wipe it off.
A few hours later, I'm now home, holding onto a box of Hershey's kisses (Recall Clarice's speech: "Life is like a box of chocolates" ....) a yellow letter, 2 badly taken prints from the photobooth, sitting infront of my lappy.
This is where, accompanied by Heaven, my tear glands developed a mind of its own.
I have never cried for you, but this kind of tears, are the good ones.
"We're in Heaven."

Thank you, Sweets. (:

pods, platypus cap, antiseptic cream.

pods, you are so damn addictive.

"What sia, we're like in couple wear."

While I hopelessly try to keep myself entertained for another 40 mins or so,
I have decided to skip testing my patience waiting for TV Serials to load,
attempt to pull a social disappearing act (virtually) by neither signing in FB nor MSN,
and work some brain cells hitting this extremely neglected space.

Let's seee,
over the past weeks,
there have been alot of movies catching, friends catchups, binging, slacking, travelling, training and touch.

Movies:
So on top of Vegas and Ironman, I caught Made Of Honour (courtesy to Mrs. Darcy).
It not only challenged my belief in the existence of purely platonic friendship between the opposite genders, it also battled my tearglands. I thought it was really good and yeah, I'm kinda prepared to watch it a second time already. Haha

And yesterday we movied marathoned with our All-time favourite shows:
The Notebook, A walk to remember.
Watched Joshua cos I thought it'd be thrilling, but no, to our disappointment, it sucked.
Moulin Rouge was unfortunately in Chinese,
and I fell asleep 15mins into Armageddeon. Not that I'm not doing the movie any justice, but it was already past 1am. I deserve to be excused. (:

Friends:
Over the week, I've met D (again), Wendy and Zoe on Monday,
Zooed on Tuesday with S,
Team-ed on Wed,
Lunched with Bao and Team Dinner on Thursday,
Seetohed on Friday, supposed to have supper with Griz and Zi after training (which ended early!!) but had dinner with Ek before delivering a surprise.
Gobbled dinner with Zi and A at the airport on Saturday, where we
Lost a Best Friend to Germany for approximately a month (who has yet to sms me! SEEF you suck! =( Ok kidding, I love you :D )
Missed Zouk with V and J for apparent reasons.

Binging:
I currently have three boxes of cheesecake in cupcake cups in the refrigerator,
not forgetting the ever occasional supper that I allow myself to have since I (supposedly) train too much,
the Macha/Red bean madness at Shokudo on Thursday,
Ben and Jerry's/Ice cream overdose.
And just yesterday, we cooked tomato and cream based pasta for a table of Six.
Ok, I didn't mean WE. I was effectively the assistant being more of a hassle then a help, but yeah. Chef K did all the cooking.
Craved for Waffles, which was Lunch today.

Touch/Training:
Besides the daily trainings alternating between School and Club, the Summer League is finally over. No more Finals against Blacks like I thought we'd have.
We played our last Prelim Rounds and I scored my last touch down for (and of) the season.
The battle scar on my left arm looks slightly disturbing, like a slit across my batwings.
Reminder: Fitness Test Tomorrow! :(

***

I just got back from a day with Luling, baking/Step Up.
And dinner with Hr. Sushi! Again!
I think I need to swear off Jap food for a while.

It was hot, I am tired,
but I am happy (:

Asianchampsnomore

"Congratulations Wan.toks! We are undefeated once again*yawn*

Wan.toks, very sorry to announce that this category is a no-go. It is not happening."

TRAININGS ARE NOW OFFICIALLY CUT BY 3 PER WEEK.
HENCE I AM MORE AVAILABLE FOR DATES NOW!
HAHAHA

Break.

S.T.L Is Finally Over!

With it, I took home battle scars: An extremely deep, long scratch from the opponent on the left arm,
and grazed knees that underate its pain. =(

I've had an eventful week, but I'm too lazy to talk about it nor post pictures.
Ranking Number One in the To-Do List currently, is to find my bag of cables and memory card readers so I can charge Manson and transfer handphone pictures. Roar.

You Give Me Something.

You only waited up for hours
Just to spend a little time alone with me
And I can say I've never bought you flowers
I can't work out what they mean

I never thought that I'd love someone
That was someone else's dream

You give me something
That makes me scared alright
This could be nothing
But I'm willing to give it a try
Please give me something
Because someday I might call you from my heart

But it might be a second too late
And the words that I could never say
Are gonna come out anyway

And It's Just One Thing I Need From You.

Displaced, misplaced.
I've been finding ourselves so out of place.

I woke up this morning with tears clogging my vision,
and a pair of very very tired legs,
attached to a body badly bitten by sandflies?

I haven't been sleeping well lately.
And I'm losing faith in myself. This is bad.
I am not so strong afterall

And next week looks more threatening. With T.oas Fitness on Tuesday, Fitness test on Wednesday, S.T.L Finals on Saturday, (most probably against Blacks). The only thing worthy looking forward to is the Public Holiday on Monday, and friendly with aSAJayCee on Thursday (Read: School food! And hopefully Astroturf!)

No pictures cos I can't find all my memory card readers/cable so neither can I charge Manson. This. Sucks.

PS: GDINE PANG WHEN ARE WE MEETINGGGGG.

Planning for Plans

14th may,
this faithful day,
one year ago,
hence today,
NO MORE P PLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My legs are extremely tired lately. Apart from training, they are barely resting (shopping in Town, walking here and there, plus I went to the zoo yesterday! HEH :D )

The left knee is aching again. I hope it's just wear and tear and it'd just past.

PS: Gdine congrats on being a driver!!! :D
PPS: The boys lost the Finals on Monday. 21-8 to Acs.i =(
PPPS: Caught What happens in Vegas last night. Not bad! Go watch it!

What Matters Most, Everything You Feel.

Alot has been happening,
but basically to condense it all,

  • I've officially moved out on 6461305, and along with it, I took with me, a bruised arm.
  • I ref-ed a game on Thursday alone (BRAVE GIRL!) but had awesome friends who came down to support and made myself 45$ richer
  • I can finally strike Dempsey off my postponed dates with the Touchgirls cos we FINALLY made our way there after a good 3 months. BUT we still have to do it again with Jean and Yanyi the next time
  • I attended my first club training after quite sometime. Heh oops.
  • TAN.IWHAS WON THE S-T-L championship!!!!!!!!!
  • I courageously spent my Friday night after training/team dinner with a bunch of strangers til past 2am.
  • I AM OFFICIALLY A LEVEL ONE REFEREEEE. (quoteunquote Vie, "big money, big money!" But actually it's not really big money, but yeah. You get the idea?)
  • I finally met Ding (inserts lotsa hugs kisses hearts flowers happy faces)
  • I saw YOUKNOWWHO in town today. Thinking back, it was quite hilarious how I tried to hide from her. Heh heh heh.
  • I am very tired =(
  • Adiv rugby finals tomorrow, I hope the boys swipe the title again!!
  • Blacks game tomorrow, postponed.

INCUBUS.

Tonight we drink to youth
And holding fast to truth
(I don't want to lose what I had as a boy.)
My heart still has a beat
But love is now a feat.
(As common as a cold day in LA.)
Sometimes when I'm alone, I wonder
Is there a spell that I am under
Keeping me from seeing the real thing?

Love hurts...
But sometimes it's a good hurt
And it feels like I'm alive.
Love sings,
When it transcends the bad things.
Have a heart and try me,
'cause without love I won't survive.

I'm fettered and abused,
I stand naked and accused
(Should I surface this one man submarine?)
I only want the truth
So tonight we drink to youth!
(I'll never lose what I had as a boy.)
Sometimes when I'm alone I wonder
Is there a spell that I am under
Keeping me from seeing the real thing?

Love hurts...
But sometimes it's a good hurt
And it feels like I'm alive.
Love sings,
When it transcends the bad things.
Have a heart and try me,
'cause without love I won't survive.

ok goodnight. gotta wake up early tmr!!!!
