So just like every camp,
I say the same thing: I miss you, Melz. =(
I guess I've had the best first-time experience with Melz and Yana.
We fought and quarrelled and had a major teacher-leader war which involved practically every other leader in camp... but it was undeniably one of the best. (:
The kids this week are.. well, not that cute.
And we have to scream at them every other hour.
Camp this year is different; taking an upper primary class and working with two other boys.
Anyhow, we went to Snow City today and I felt like my lips were frozen and gonna drop off.
The kids had frostbites (it was -60deg there and I had to tie their shoelaces without my gloves inside), cried when snow was thrown at them, etc.
And I fell head down and bit my tongue, fuck.
So here's the story; I kinda want to remember it:
Keith fell off the tyre while coming down the slide (which is, pretty steep) and tumbled down (like Hansel and Gretel, haha) so when I got off, I walked over to check if he was fine. Pulled him in so the other kids coming down won't crash into him but some bitch of a kid collided into me right at my legs so I fell and hit my head. Fuck, talking about it still reminds me of the pain. It felt like I had a five second concussion or something. Hah.
And to make things worse, we had a fucked up Bus uncle who carries no handphone, argued over our destination and time to leave. He kept insisting on coming at 12 when I told him 1230 so we decided to just let him wait. Wait, he did indeed, and he left us stranded in the rain with 22 kids whining about how hungry they were. Grrr. I was seriously fuming mad.
PS: Yesterday's training was good! :D
