speak to me.

I wish I could have known you better
I should blame it on the weather
This was over from the start
Does it even matter?
Our situations getting worse

INTENSIVE TOUCH RUG WEEK, LOVELOVELOVE FROM THE TEAM.

We were greeted by sunshines and still air on Monday evening (5pm) and everyone's speculation that we were doing PT.
Uh uh. 5 * 300, 5 * 200, 5* 100, 5* 50.
I think what killed most was ironically, the 5 sets of 50. Cos we were practically doing it non stop and we were already half dead by then.

Field work, where we played with the juniors, and Serena did individual assessments.

Met earlyearly on Tuesday afternoon for TEAMTALK, where we assessed each other this time. Then field work where we worked on individual skills and dear MrBenSoh, as usual, popped by to kaypoh. Bella & I were so desperate for defenders we asked Mr & Ms Soh to defend us and they did a really good (+scary/ threatening) job!

Training ended with a huge group hug and "WE LOVE YOU, SENIORS" from our very dear ( & sweeeeet!) juniors.

Yeah, it was our last, our final, training. ))):

We changed up, and rushed out of school and set off for CHOMPCHOMP! Where we had our very very very very first 10/10 full attendanced team dinner.

(Since neither Sam nor Sin Wen's hands were long enough to take a shot that could fit everyone, we decided to take separate photos)

Everyone took out 10$, then we set off to get food! In total, ten of us shared:
  • 2 large stingrays
  • 2 medium la la
  • 10 chicken wings
  • 40 chicken satays
  • 1 white carrot cake
  • 1 black carrot cake
  • many many chwee kueh (I lost count)
  • 1 bowl of prawn noodles
  • 2 fried oysters
  • 243093 cups of sugarcane/ chin chowwwww.

Btw, the sugar cane uncle was really nice. Cos initially, Yanns & Sin wen's sugarcane juice was overwhelmed with the taste of lime, so they told him. Not only did he compensate them with a brand new cup, he refunded them tooo! Then later, Elsa & I decided we neeeeeddd more drinks so we got another huge cup (can see from the picture below), and he gave us 2 instead. (One for free!)

All in all, we spent 100$ exactly (excluding the extra drinks we got) and it was really an enjoyable fun time(: No matter how many outings/gathering we've had, there was never once we had 10/10 attendance and this time was, truly, amazing. (: (the mess we left, but it doesn't look as bad cos the uncle cleared alot already!)

Quote of the day:

"If food was free, I'd be the richest person in the world."
-Annabella

3 of them left (Yanns, Joy, Sinwen) so the rest wanted to chill. But ice cube was closed ): So we decided to go Liquid kitchen, and we were such aunties please! We were saying how we totally ruined the atmosphere there with the noise we created. And we were being extremely silly, and Estee/Bella= aunties of the day. Hoho.

**

This morning, was one in many, that I don't see the team. ): Feels weird, but I'd see them tomorrow. =D Was tossing balls with Zong while waiting for the rest, then we had camp dry run, then we went into total multi shot craze. The word "craze" is really so apt, cos it was really C-R-A-Z-Y. (this photo looks really wrong, I know)

Then Yanns & I left for Island Creamery cos she was just DYING to go there. And we had 3 scoops EACH. Selfish and greedy huh. And guess who we bumped into there?

Our dear j1s, who tried to shock us. But we already saw them. (:

And so, here I am online, after finishing up whatever I have left to Lost's season 2, waiting for mommy to come home so we can go to Swensen's for dinner! =D (But I won't eat ice cream)

**

Gosh, it's so near, the thoughts of it is already making my heart skip faster. And just last night, I had a nightmare, that the winger broke through me THRICE because I didn't do my sweep d properly. Oh, mother.

Happy 17th birthday, my gay husband(:

I say, CUP,
you say, CHAMPIONS.

#FRIDAY, 260506
Fridays are my slack days. This last friday of the term wasn't any different. But it was sweeet. A lot of visual pleasure and I received a bar of bubbly milk swiss chocolate, and a bar of Hersheys cookies & chocolate. (: Training was fine, yes, my butt was alot better.

Waited for my everdearestsweetest mommy ♥ to come to school just to pass me my Class Tee and bring home my excessive school work & training stuff. (:
Rushed off with Lesbo to Sharon's, but HR very kindly volunteered to pick us up at Westmall's bus stop.

Reached there before some, and the hungry people (aka me!) were fed with lovely (but oily) chicken wings, partially uncooked prawns (occasionally), yumyum satay (I cooked some!), not-fully-cooked otah (but we couldn't care less), grreeeeaaattt stingray, exceptionally salty hotdogs! So I got impatient while waiting for more food and started roasting marshmallows(: There were only two packs so it wasn't exactly enough to go round, Jx brought chocolate to melt and we started dipping all sorts of stuff in it! From marshmallows to satay to otah to sweet potatoes to Marie's fingers. HAHA.

In between, people were playing squash and the security guard came a few times warning us about attire and eventually chasing us off the court cos our booking slot was up.
Then we celebrated the happy boy's (Liu Liang Yang!) birthday with a brownie sm:)ey cake baked by some of the girls and a huge ass (heavy) watermelon and a candle stuck in the middle.

And look what he brought for us to drink! (Okay, I was supposed to pose like I was advertising for it)

#2: A photo with Irritant.
#3: Nanny pok who always cooks for me since j1
#4: Marie & I with YONGRUI, IDOL! (trying to make his fans jealous yeah)
#5: Class pic!

On the way home, I looked up the sky and it was b-e-a-uuuutifully filled with stars. Like alot. If I didn't have friendly the next day, I would have called up a friend to go star gazing with me. Lovely! =D

#SATURDAY, 270506

Slept pretty late the previous night, and got woken up pretty early by a message. It was 6:19. Omg. I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't anymore. Nvm. Got down to Clementi, met the TEAM, and got down to N U S. It was flying hot, and I was super tired from last night so I wouldn't say I played well at all.

Half the time Serena was screaming at me & my silly mistakes and I barely understood what she wanted me to do when I was on pitch. Oh well, we only played three games. And we lost some, won some, drew some. (HAHA)

Then the j2s left for Clementi hawker (we boarded the wrong bus, went down to Buena Vista, and took the train back up to Clementi) where Yanns was saying how delicious the fish&chips there was, but I was craving for some kway chap and settled for Bakuteh instead since there was no kway chap ): And you know, the fish and chips are also available at Serangoon Garden market! Chey! Oh, and the retreat to resort 91 Kheam Hock Road was cancelled!

I met DING(: later in the night for dinner and emergency hairband shopping since I broke two in a week. (pathetic) I was still craving for some kway chap, but we settled for claypot rice cos it looked & smelt really good. But dinner was so so disappointing, Ding barely finished hers.

You know, if there was ever any friend that I'm still close to after I've gone on to College, it's Ding. Maybe because both of parents allow us out late at night, and maybe, to start with, we weren't even from the same secondary school and we were still close so there was no excuse for the drift. And if there ever was a relationship with a friend that I'd like to use as an example of how enemies can become friends, it'd be ours. I know I've said this a hundred and one times, but really, it's amazing how our friendship has grown, and I love you, Ding! (: ♥

#SUNDAY, 280506

Away to CCAB! The minute Yanns, Ping & I alighted the bus, it started to pour ): So we gave Estee a ring and she picked us up from the bus stop. But, the walk from where we alighted her dad's car to the gallery was looooong and unsheltered and the rain was Heavy. So we were still drenched, as we ran through half-your-calf high puddles of water and girls had their slippers slip off and float in the water. Heh heh.

Our first game as Team one- Joy, Kelly, Deborah, Yinxi, Me, against Tj was 3-0. Sweeet victory! But Serena reshuffled us after that, so Team one became- Joy, Me, Estee, Elsa, Yanns. The rest of the matches went fine, 4-0 against Sr, and 4-0 against Innova. The last team we met, Pj, thrashed Ij and Tj 7-0, but we managed to beat them 3-1, I think?

That placed us in a spot for Cups qualifying round. And we met NY poly. AHH. Our friends! So Min was saying, "eh, friendly okay! friendly!" Haha. We were frightened, honestly. Intimidated, a little, cos we knew them, and knew their abilities. But we breezed through. And met Tj's j3s in the Semis. Even more intimidating huh. But we did it again. 2-1, to us.

We told Serena, but she asked "Why did you guys let it that one try?"

That victory, placed us in the spot for CUPS FINALS.
CUPS FINALS, you know. We made it this far. And we met the team that thrashed one of the other teams 5-0, the team that Yanns has been saying all day that she wanted to meet them again. Tj j2s. The short 7 minutes on pitch never felt so tiring, so exhausting, mentally challenging, mentally degrading, painful, heartbreaking before.

We started on d. We went on to attack. We committed and passed. We switched. We looped. We side stepped. We caught our balls. We dropped our balls. We communicated. We allowed gaps to open for them to break through. We scored tries. We screamed at each other. We encouraged. We tried our best. We lost. Final score? 7-1. It could have been 7-4 you know. And maybe when it was 7-4, we wouldn't be so discouraged.

Imagine yourself going on to the pitch, you're running hard at the ball, you caught it. Thank God. You run, you burn, you see the try line. You see the girl coming hard at you, you run even faster, You put the ball down. It's a try. But NO, the ball fumbles. You didn't dump it hard enough. It rolled away. Your opponents scream "BALL FUMBLE!". Your ref gets swayed. She blows the whistle and says, "It's a drop ball." You hear your coach screaming from the sidelines, "DIVE! DIVE! YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE THAT TRY! JUST DIVE!" And you've never seen her so angry before. You blame yourself. You hate yourself. But the team says it's okay, let's work from here.

Then from there, you guys continue playing. Twice, you are the supporting player. Your ball carrier did a brilliant commit and passed it to you. You ran at it, hoping to catch it. And if you do, with the momentum you already have, run through and the try is yours. But NO, the ball either slips through your palms, or it bounces off your hands that have already caught it. You scream SSSSSSHHHHHHHIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT really loudly in frustration. Your coach is right in front of you.

The whistle blows. The team lost. Everyone says it's okay. But deep down, you know you ruined the chances. Your coach calls the team to gather. She asks if you're playing under dry, or wet weather conditions.

She asks, WHAT DOES THE BALL MEAN TO YOU?
She asks, DO YOU TREASURE A TRY AT ALL?

She's fuming mad. She points you out. She asks why you allowed those mistakes to happen. You tremble, you're scared, you're disappointed, you're discouraged, you blame yourself. You don't dare to look at her. Unknowingly, you hear yourself sniffing, your vision blurrs, you feel your face wet, your t shirt stains not of mud this time, but of tears. She says, "STOP CRYING. WHAT ARE YOU CRYING FOR."

Your teammates offer you hugs, assurance, encouragement, and love. Your brace yourself, wipe those tears, take a cool/stretch down. Cheer for your team, the one you love.

**

There was this babe and hunk competition. We nominated Serena, but we were so silly. Organising committee cannot take part! UGH. For hunk, we decided to saboh ARTHUR LIM. And guess what? HE WON. Prize of the competition was a Motorola v3i. But since there was only one, the girl got it instead, and all Arthur got was a tee. Poor thing. But at least he has the title of the HUNK. Hurhur.

The other senior team got Bowl champs, after playing with a junior team and finished 6-1. So as Bella said, overall, we are CUPS CHAMPIONS!!

team 4: bowl CHAMPIONS!!!
team 1: CUPS runner-ups!!!
*Say simultaneously.

The night ended with TEAM dinner at Adam Road Hawker = fragrant nasi lemak & tasty big prawn noodles. And my parents picked me up from Mac Ritchie.

Despite the weary soul and exhausted body, I only slept at 2, after rejecting 101 phonecalls and finally picking up the last one reading that you were sitting on the floor. crying.

**

LOUIS & AH GONG, thanks for coming down. (:

&Dear Patrick, thanks so much for coming down. And the encouragement, support, box of chocobaby, a chocolate marshmallow, your love, your ugly flower face, your girl-watching company. HAHA. Love you(: (I couldn't tag on your blog)

And to the TEAM, I love you guys(: Thanks for the hugs, encouragements, pats on the back, messages, assurance, company, and sm:)es. (:

I promise, that on Thursday, be it wet or dry, I will dive if I have to. Dive, regardless of the scratches and injuries I will cause myself to get.

THURSDAY, 1ST JUNE, 1PM @ FARRER PARK.
SEE YOU THERE.

And today, I learnt that diverting your calls = outgoing talk time. Damnit. No wonder my bill sky rocketed to 140$.

that's what dreams are made of.

nope, this is what a team is made of.
Missing: Bella, Joy, Sam.

You just haven't thought of it yet.

This is what we've been looking for, sweetcreampie:

"There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey. You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet"

Please, leave all overcoats, canes and top hats with the doorman.

Please, leave all overcoats, canes and top hats with the doorman.
From that moment you'll be out of place and underdressed.
I'm wrecking this evening already and loving every minute of it.
Ruining this banquet for the mildly inspiring and...

When you're in black slacks with accentuating, off-white, pinstripes
Whoa, everything goes according to plan.

I'm the new cancer, never looked better, you can't stand it.
Because you say so under your breath.
You're reading lips "When did he get all confident?"

Haven't you heard that I'm the new cancer?
Never looked better, and you can't stand it

Next is a trip to the, the ladies room in vain, and
I bet you just can't keep up (keep up) with these fashionistas, and
Tonight, tonight you are, you are a whispering campaign.
I bet to them your name is "Cheap", I bet to them you look like shh...

Talk to the mirror, oh, choke back tears.
And keep telling yourself that "I'm a diva!"
Oh and the smokes in that cigarette box on the table,
they just so happen to be laced with nitroglycerin.

I'm the new cancer, never looked better, you can't stand it.
Because you say so under your breath.
You're reading lips "When did he get all confident?"

Haven't you heard that I'm the new cancer?
Never looked better, and you can't stand it

Haven't you heard that I'm the new cancer?
I've never looked better, and you can't stand it

And I know, and I know, it just doesn't feel like a night out with no one sizing you up.
I've never been so surreptitious, so of course you'll be distracted when I spike the punch.

running low on the L juice.

With effect of today, 240506, 2238 hours, I declare myself enemies with YUE LIANG.
Yes, you didn't read it wrongly. It's the ever wonderful yue liang.
Why?
Because she TOOK my flower that SUNSHINE(: got for me and now I'm flowerless.
Grr you.
(HAHA)

Wow today I have the time to blog! Because I've self declared tomorrow- NO SCHOOL. Yay!
Last thursday, I went to school for nothing! Or rather, for Chen weiyarnie.
Had a redundant math tutorial, and the guys & I sneaked out of school after that to town. TCC - Iced mint mocha! then 171 to ccab to watch the first half of soccer, and 240 down to delta to watch boys hockey! Then yummehlicious nasi lemak at some place in redhill and cab down from redhill through town was OMG; long and worrying cos of the jam and the meter just keeps jumping like no one's business. But the uncle was so sweet(: He charged me cheaper cos of the jam. And on the way home, another cab uncle also charged me a cheaper cab fare! What a lovely world.

Touch camp on Friday & Saturday went great, I'd say(:
Group 2! With Zara as co group leader. (: Though we were honestly, very lazy to run around with the group, but their enthusiasm really hyped us up.
So at the end of amazing race, we still had our 5 little babies surviving while most groups only had 1 or 2 left. Haha. Night team building games were, tiring. Bella, Joy, Yanns, and later Estee, and I were busy pulling out juniors from their "squeeze" mode, being crazy out-of-their-minds seniors screaming at them, being so serious, forcing our way into them and separating them, resulting in us, waking up with serious sore arms the next day. But ultimately, we hope the activity did help the j1s bond.

Halfway through the game, we waited soooo duper long for the team of j1s that we ended up playing netball, and Bensoh joined us too! One guy and 7 girls man. But it was so dark that we couldn't really see the ball. But it was funfunfun!

While waiting for the jrs to wash up after their hairwash, I told Yanns how school is a GREAT spot to go star gazing by the gallery. So we decided to just go sit in the middle of a D, lie down, enjoy the beauty of nature, and talk. It was lovely! (:

Nightwalk went okay, Yanns and I were throwing a bear down the stairs as the j1s walked down. Some screams were really shreaky; we were covering our eyes. Some were silent, but we heard their scurried footsteps. Heh heh. Think it would have been better if there weren't so many people walking around and if the compound was less bright, but then again, I'm sure we'd want the lights around under normal circumstances cos it would be quite scary, really.

So we washed up, laid our sleeping bags, crawled and found ourselves comfy positions, gave our goodnight hugs and said our goodnight wishes, and slept. Roughly around 4 am. And woke up to alarms and talkings around 630.
Breakfast wasn't enough so Joy and Qh went out to get food. Then there was backstabbing. No, not that backstabbing, but the one where we wrote something nice about the person on a piece of paper and it goes around. I wrote for my dear group members, who have really been an enthusiastic, loving and united bunch, earning us the TOP SCORING GROUP. YAY. =D

Left for jj, where we were greeted by a synthetic field of lush green grass, some jj, ac, rp, pj touch ruggers. I only remember that we lost 1-0 to jj, 1-0 to rp, won 2-1 to ac. I thought the pj game was a draw, but some say we won. *shrugs.
It was such a hot hot hot morning, just sitting down and resting is enough to burn my back. The sun rays were so strong, they actually burnt through my jersey onto my back!

So since FEIIERS was there and we do owe each other some good catching up, I decided to head home with her. And we happily talked our way to a bus stop, waited for 174 that we knew was going Boon Lay interchange, and sat down. After verry long later, we realised we were on the bus going in the wrong direction!! We felt so silly, really.

(Okay I saved this as draft, so now I'm continuing it)

We saw KAP, and thought it was Serene centre and got really excited, but the bus DID go to Serene center anyway. We saw Coro plaza and waited to go down the next but the bus turned left so we freaked out. But it turned back to Serene center la. Went to Island creamery, got ourselves banana split with horlicks, apple pie & teh tarik! Met quite a few people there. Took lotsa crappy photos. Printed out our photos, couldn't find the marker so we resorted to pen & liquid paper, felt super embarrassed, ran out of island creamery, sat outside mac under the sun doing our stuff, chose between 3 directions to walk to to our 156 bus stop. And we got it right! YAY =D we're not so silly after all.

By the time I board the bus, it was past 4. And I was supposed to be at Tiff's at 530. So I took 156 home, left home, and took 156 down to Tiff's again. Sounds silly. Had Yanns for a lovely company on the way there.

We reached, ate, lazed around, dug out dirty little secrets from people both willingly and unwillingly, on purpose and coincidentally. Wrote Birthday notes for the birthday babies(: and for everyone in the 6th House Comm. So it was like double backstabbing, plus the one I did in the morning, it was 3 in a day! How tiring for my brain.

There was a point where everyone started doing our own stuff, so Yanns Tiff Jien and I retreated to our favourite cosy corner- the toilet. (: So we were busy fitting ourselves into little shelves and then I just sat there cos I was lazy to move, and Jien took a photo, which totally looked porn. We found Jien a future career! Haha.

**
Cut the three tier cake, ate, continued backstab sessions, then people started leaving slowly. Pius and I were staying over, so we helped clear up etc. Then whoever was left went up to the poolside, and tried watching the stars but it was too cloudy. I fell asleep a few times, cos I was seriously exhausted. Washed up and slept to Tiff's love and comfort in her room at about 330am. (:

Woke up, woke Tiff up, washed up, ate Nasi Lemak(:, cabbed home, dropped Pius off, showered again, switched on my air con, did abit of work, fell asleep for awhile, had company over, had fun, fell asleep in the comforts of my air con and bed. (I swear I was home/bed sick for a minute the previous night) HAHA.

**
Did BASIC and SUPER on Monday for training. 20 sets of exercises, then 30. For dinner, Yanns & I decided we should be rewarding ourselves so we had Chicken Rice + Bubble tea. Hoho.

Tues was retarded, we had science fest briefing, that made us miss most of the touch debrief, but we went for it anyway. Then dinner at subway, headed to Bakerzin to get Yanns' & Louis' cake- half white choc, half dark choc! YUMS(: Did very little work, read the iOta, fell asleep to ipod nano's melodies, rushed home cos my cake was gonna die!!

**
Went to school to move chairs, move tables, sit in the dark, fall asleep on the table, enjoyed air con from the backstage. Everything went well though, thankfully. And we went for reception where I had this like superduper oily laksa. EEw. Decided to go for math lect, and I really wanted to run out cos I had to meet Pong to do the cake. BUT- Mdmseet was saying that you can only leave if you go up to her and ask for permission. So after alot of freaking out, hesitation and reluctance, I ran out by the front doors of the CC and raaannn to the caf. Brought the cake backstage, and lit the candles when they were dismissed. LUCKILY, Yanns was talking to someone so her back was facing us, then sweets ran up to her to cover her eyes and brought her back. Then we sang a superduper LOUD happy birthday song to her! With the teachers still inside, but we didn't care. Was a pity that Louis left school already when we celebrated ): Pong called and he said he was "far far away from school" ))))):

Then later, the team had friendlies with the guys. And I pulled my muscle. So I pulled out of the second game. Jogging, stretching, all didn't help. I could barely walk. So I ended up sitting on ice packs, or lying on them in my shorts.
Sigh.
Then the team did AWESOME, I couldn't. I only did the push ups stuff though, cos they didn't realy need that muscle. Then samburger said slow jogging will help so I went for a reaally slow one while the team PT-ed. 9 and a half rounds.

Surprised Yanns with a fruit cake after training, watched the Rugby 7s between the guys and women's team (go serena go go!), washed up, stole the balloons, left for home.

Got dinner on the way home, and we're just talking about how much we love some kueh, wanted to eat mash potato/durian, and at home, Mommy said "I bought mash potato! And there's durian in the fridge", and I saw the kueh something that I was just talking about. How cool right.
Watched american idol, then I came online, and I fell asleep by my computer!
Got 2 missed calls from Hr and Yarns, woke up to 6 messages and 7 msn windows.
OMG SHIT. Then I replied some half awake, and fell back asleep.
Then I woke up, thinking it was 10am already?? But realising it was only 620am when I checked my hp and realised my lights and laptop were still on. SHIT MAN, really.

**
Taylor won Idol! )))))))):
I'd rather Katherine though I don't really like her as much as I do for Chris and Elliot.
Allright, training in 6 hours. My butt feels swollen and when it still hurts when I walk.

per week.

it's a four day week life again. but there's training at five. dreads.

chocolate is pleasure, but excess cocoa is pain.

With PT part 2 tomorrow (we're doing AWESOME to add on to the BASIC and SUPER we've done), I told myself, SLEEP EARLY and GET ENOUGH REST.

And I feel sick from the overdose of cocoa.
And it's double chocolate cake tomorrow.

You can take it all away ;

So much beauty in life
Shining on the outside
Empty on the inside
I get lost sometimes
Blinded by the flashing lights
Distractions always in my eyes
*

Somehow today, the playlist feels so emo. And I didn't choose it.

You know how many say, "Ignorance is bliss" and "Honesty is the best policy" ?
And how essays in Secondary schools are based on those quotations?
Right now, I feel like my life is an answer to an essay question on these quotes.
I agree to a large extent?
No, maybe I agree to a small extent.
Yep, and I should start with a concession right? (Haha, gp lesson today)
Or a comparison/ analogy/ definition maybe?

But then again, more like a disjointed essay with a poor introduction, unorganised essay structure, unclear stand, and poorly concluded.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you tell yourself, ignorance is bliss, ignorance is bliss, it just can't get into your head. Knowing it'd sting, you find yourself curious, hungry, authoritative yet powerless, you crawl into a cave you know you'd get lost in, you swim deeper into the water knowing there is no treasure.

They say, curiousity killed the cat.
Well, jealousy killed the man.

If given a choice, would you rather be a piece of cloth that has been beautifully stitched to form a nice sewing?
Or an empty piece of cloth, clean, and unstitched, for fear of wrong stitches and the difficulty of undoing them?

*

Well yarns, if you have two left hands, I've two rights.
They aren't cooperating with me. (I'm a leftie, fyi)

Ohwell, I've been tagged by SWEETCREAMPIE.
LIST 5 POINTLESS (OR NOT) CONFESSIONS.
  1. Sometimes, I fall asleep while doing my work so I don't brush my teeth at night. ): But this rarely happens. Heh.
  2. I have a soft spot for guys with braces (:
  3. I'd give up meals with friends for home cooked food (:
  4. I wish I'd never have to grow up and leave school though I hate studying.
  5. I wanna kiss a girl before I die.

(I really can't think much confessions actually)
& I tag whoever that feels you've a dirty little secret to share. (:

BTW, HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY:

  1. Cheong herngsie, the fork! (18 may)
  2. Becca braceys (19 may)
  3. PONG DEAREST! (: (2o may)

Never ending story.

Does anybody know the way to Atlantis?
Or what the wind says when she cries
I'm speeding by the place,
that I met you.
For the ninety seventh time,
tonight.
*
Well, I guess I can strike off the part on the "Things I want to do" list where I said I wanted to lie down and watch the stars. Nearly there. Just that I didn't get the breeze from the sea, the soft sand to lie on, but instead I had the hard uncomfy track and Potong Pasir wind. But it was stars I saw nonetheless, and the company I had was wonderful. I love you, yanns(:
It was a pity Saturday night was soo cloudy. So the pretty stars were covered and the nice star seeing spot in Tiffoos' house wasn't any beneficial. But there were a few later in the night, as the clouds moved. (: Lovely. perfection.

So much to talk about, but so little time! I need to catch up on my lost sleep, with sleeping only past 330 the previous two nights and waking up at 630 and 930 the next days. This week, though the last, is going to be extremely tiring, I can see. And the worse thing is, I don't think I can find a day to skip. I'll try. Gonna have training everyday, and I have lots of tutorials to do. ):

*

Why didn't the previous occasion hit me hard enough to prevent this same incident from happening again? This time, it's worse cos they are people I no longer hold any trust to.

Closer to me.

I'll let the photos do the talking. I don't have time to blog everything in detail!
Right now, I gotta rush 2 Chem tutorials, One gp compre, and catch up on my sleep that I'm deprived of since Friday. The coming week is gonna be tiring, with training practically everyday and studies to catch up with. I hope I'll pull through.

GO TEAM SA.

THREE PICTURES PAINT A MILLION WORDS.

I JUST HAD TO COME ONLINE TO DO THIS.

BOWLING GUYS ARE CURRENTLY #1 LEADING BY 24 POINTS,

GIRLS HOCKEY ARE THROUGH TO THE FINALS AFTER AN INTENSE MATCH.

Though girls soccer lost, it's okay. Cos we'll fight back the 3rd position!

Today, we beat Raffles in both sports played on the same day. Tomorrow, we shall repeat history and beat Vj in both Hockey and Soccer too!

WAY TO GO! GO TEAM SA! (Bring 'em down!)

Just as I deliberately not have my phone with me today, Yanns forgot hers too! (:
And I got sent out of Geeepeee lesson, along with > than half the class for two and a half periods for the 3 period lesson today.
And 4/10 for Ionic equi test was a complete waste of my time studying.
House meeting marks soo many new stuff we need to do.
And kinder bueno = fats, unhealthy.
Longans in honeydew apple = yum yum.
Taken for granted = don't appreciate presence.
Deliberate ignorance = sulking in the Sc.
Yes and No = Don't ask why.
Ah gong, rest well please. Boss, go and sleep!

Cry for joy, amen.
For after all, it's only love.

There are certain human reactions that are just natural and inevitable.
Just like how you can't stop your eyes from blinking when something suddenly appears in front of you.
Or like how you can't stop your tears from flowing and beads of perspiration from dripping down when you bite into a chilli padi.
This reaction, is likewise, natural, and inevitable.

*
I got upset over a friend today.
Over a reason I cannot bring myself to say.
Maybe I was in the wrong to look,
but how do you really spell trust anyway?
H-I-D-E?
I think otherwise.

*

Things I really do want to do:
  • Have a hearty meal at Chomp chomp with Ding dearest, then walk home(:
  • Take a looong, sloooow, walk all the way back from Town in the weee hours of a weekend with a friend I'm definite I can connect to and enjoy the company of.
  • Lie under a star filled sky (minus the light pollution please) on the soft sandy beach bed and breathe in some fresh air.
  • Simply, stay at home and finish up Lost Season 2 without having to worry that I'm missing out stuff from school.
  • SM:)E.

Things I really HAVE to do:

  • Study for the ionic equi test tmr that's soo freaking thick
  • Do electrolysis tutorial
  • Gp research regarding political cartoon (I've been putting it off for weeks)
  • Read Gp page 18-22.

*

Fun touch @ CCAB on 28 May. (Stay over at Sinwen's on 27th)

The REAL SRU league from 31st May- 01 June.
Damn. We're excited. But we're unprepared. Is this what we're truly waiting for?

*

On a lighter note, dry run today went really good (: Which, by the way, was the reason for me coming to school. I'M SO EXCITED FOR CAMP THIS WEEKEND!! Tomorrow, my reason for doing GOING (thanks Tiffooos!!) to school would be because of the House meeting at 530. But I'm not complaining.

*

(HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY!) -yesterday
So I had xiao long bao for lunch(: , got a strawberry milkshake(: from Mac , caught MI 3 (it's REALLY good), received a Mothers' day greeting from PRISSIE xiao shun(:, wished Corrine marms*, & truly enjoyed myself(:,

Met mommy, headed down to Suntec for a vegetarian dinner. Stoned and got really bored, laughed for really long over Brandon's extremely extremely silly dream, left the convention hall only at 1130 and got really upset cos I've yet to study for Math, fell asleep in the car, reached home around 1230, abandoned Brandon for sleep, and kissed 140506 goodnight.

*

It's time you do what you should do, what you ought to, and what you know (or maybe think. hur) I'd rather you do.

I've had enough questions for the day.

HELLO IONIC EQUILIBRIUM.
I will finish you in 2 hours starting from 9pm. I'll try. (:

History, repeats.

I honestly don't feel like going to school tomorrow.
In fact, I don't feel like going to school AT ALL anymore.
It's just so depressing, you know. Like every corner you turn to in school, just has something so negative and depressing about it.
I really don't know what to do when I'm back there.
It's like, just weird. Torn into two. And I know, being me, I'll just be running away from it all.
But running away can't solve anything, Phil. You know it.

*
So hi my ever beloved laptop and comfy bed, I'm back from my two day - one night stay at resort 91, Kheam Hock Road where we felt like Princesses for a day with efficient room service that called us instead of we call them. (: Estee, Bella and I were saying how we felt like we were in Malaysia or something.

*

HISTORY REPEATS.
We wanted this soo much. No, so is an understatement. We wanted it more than anything in the world. It is our first, and our last this year.

One man, one voice.

We gathered for TEAM lunch on Friday, at Adam's. But I already ate at Noodle hut before that. Juniors bought a pint of REVERSO from Island Creamery (and I was just talking about it before that) and we went back to Sin Wen's house, where everyone went "WAHHHHHH" non stop for at least 10 minutes. It was huge, gorgeous, beautiful, and beyond what words can describe.
And her room is practically like, another living room?

Watched MIRACLES (an old show), an inspirational show about Ice Hockey and gathered for Team talk, goal settings. We were all fired up.
As the rest left, some j2s stayed on, and watched DRUMLINE, another inspirational show just that this is about Military Band.

Had dinner, watched Da Chang Jin, & people started falling asleep. Then Elsa and I played A walk to remember, and she got all lovey dovey(: So Bella fell asleep first, then Estee and Sinwen halfway through the first disc and I totally gave up 10 minutes into the second.

Handphone alarms, a warm shower, and french toast greeted us the following morning before the 5 of us rushed down to Turf city.

Winning 3 games and losing 1, placed us Second in table A.
The second group match was the ONE man. THE ONE. They were probably thinking to themselves that they need not fear since they beat us by one try in the last friendly, but NOOOOOO, they were totally beaten FLAT. 3-0 to US. BEAT THAT, Sr. =D

So we had to meet the first in table B- National.
Sounds familiar?
We met them in the previous M1 tournament too.
The outcome was similar.

Then we met NY, after seeking shelter due to the thunderstorm and bidding our juniors goodbye, when the fields were so flooded they could "grow rice", the ball was wet, it was hard to grip.

I told Bella, "Shit Bella, I can't. I just can't catch the ball. I'm damn scared."
But she encouraged and we played on.

That match, had to be one where I had the record breaking number of balls dropped.

We went into Sudden Death.
Dropping man out, one by one.
And from 6, we went down to 3.

It reached a point where the pressure was so high, it felt like we lost control.
And after an intense battle
Both physically. And mentally,
We lost.
We lost.
(and I wondered how things would be different if I didn't give up on myself mentally)

The whistle went. It was a try to ny.
I turned around and told Joy "This is the second time it's happening."
And I walked towards the three team mates left of the pitch with tears streaming down my face.

We hugged.
We cried.
The team gathered.
We shed tears of disappointment.
Tears of bitterness.
Tears of hardwork.
Tears of team spirit.
Tears of we-let-you-down-Serena.
Tears of pain.
Tears of goodbye.

The ny people were sweet, they did a cheer for us.

We stood at that cursed Pitch B, for what felt like eternity.
Estee said "two minutes. And that's it. Lift your head high as we walk out of this pitch."
We said a prayer.
Gave thanks.
And walked off with our heads high.

I swear that pitch is cursed, the refs are fucked up. But eventually we realise it doesn't matter.
Winning isn't everything to us. Cos the ultimate goal we want to achieve, is to finally be able to play as A TEAM. and not as individuals. Which I believe we finally have.

We went back to our "resort" and took a nice bath, and enjoyed 4 large pizzas, 15 chicken wings, 5 packets of chicken rice shared among the 12 of us. Lovely.
The losing may be bitter, but the togetherness and love of the team is sweet.

Angel told me, "Tough times will end. Tough girls won't. (modified army phrase)"
I'm sure that would be the case.

We watched a walk to remember again. And it totally melted our hearts away. (: Awwww.
We bid our "resort" goodbye and walked out. Along the way, we admired the beautiful houses, and there was one, with a lift.

I met DING(: to catch up, and get my Mothers' day gift, but ended up shopping for myself too. We caught up, and once again, I saw life from a different point of view.
One thing about Ding that I can never understand, is how she's so ready and willing to forgive. She puts the past behind and gives the same person a new chance. And what's worse, is that the person who has been doing the same thing 3 times, is one whom receives probably the most trust from her, and one whose name Ding should never have to think of when a situation like this occurs. YET, it is always her name that Ding hears that is the cause. Sigh.

I bumped into Feline, got myself 3 new ear rings, and my Mothers' day gift. Bought myself two cups of drinks along the way, accompanied Ding over dinner, thought a surprise was coming my way but was wrong.
Reached home and showered for the 3rd time that day, dug out my Math notes, switched on my teevee to 23, sat on my couch, watched the Liverpool- West ham united match, saw West-ham score the first goal and the next and the next and Gerrard's super b-e-a-uuuutiful goals, watched all the way into extra time, dozed off with repeated "Phil?" calling over the phone, woke up and said "I'm not sleeping", totally fell asleep. My handphone rang, "you fell asleep on me!", "oh I did? Sorry!!", watched more of the match, Penalty shoot outs, Liverpool won, "good night.", "good night.", crawled onto my comfy bed, said my goodnight prayer, and slept.

What an eventful two days.

Forgiveness, is not an emotion. It's a decision.

Just a lil' sensitivity.

Middles:

Middle children are more easy going and peer-oriented. Since they can get lost in the shuffle of their own families, they learn to build bridges to other sources of support and therefore tend to have excellent people skills. Middle children often take on the role of mediator and peacemaker. Famous middle children include: Bill Gates, J.F.K., Madonna and Princess Diana.

Something I got from weiyarnie's. (:

So on Wednesday night, my sleep was disrupted by sneezing & the need to really blow my nose.
Last night, I kept waking up cos I was coughing. I slept really early, like 10+? (The drowsy-causing medicine's fault) And I replied a message in my sleep, sending it to the wrong person (Sorry Ah gong) and answered his call saying "Why are you up so early" when it was only 1140pm. (I thought it was 7am, you see)

So I only managed to watch 2 and a half episodes of Lost yesterday cos I kept sleeping, sleeping. And then an upset friend came over and I wanted to put that sm:)e on that face, but it wasn't easy I guess!

I missed Idol, but I know Chris got eliminated. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))):
Now what? And I thought he was gonna win! Grr.

*

Right now, I got to decide, between stay over? Or not?
I'll just pack whatever I have to along. And I'll decide later I guess. Sigh. ):

Why do things have to turn out this way? Is there no room for acceptance, or forgiveness? Is there a need for this?
So what am I gonna do now?
SIGH.

Counting down: 23 hours 6 mins to go. That's LESS than 24 hours.

Let the love in.

And it's, it's no bed of rose lying here
Tossing and turning

So I got woken up this morning by many many messages at around 650, but I was too sleepy to even read them properly or reply. But I replied my sweetcreampie with lotsa typos cos I guess I was still sleepy. Brandybrandon called around 710 cos he was at Potong Pasir Mrt station and he was standing around alot alot of saints and thought we could meet up!

Bran: "Eh, where are you!"
Me: "At home."
Bran: "Oh, I'm at Potong pasir mrt and I see alot of saints!"
Me: "I'm not feeling well today la. I'm not going to school."
Bran: "So you're skipping school today? Wahlao, enjoy la."
Me: "Eh, it's cos I'm not feeeling well okay!"

Who's the one enjoying please!! With school holidays all the wayyyy till July!!!!!!!
And then, he called again to ask how to get to Cedar. I asked where he was, and he said, "walking along with the Saints." HAHA, silly silly!

I slept after watching AI repeat on Star world yesterday, but I kept waking up in the middle of the night to blow my nose. I got so irritated with getting up to reach for my Nightmare before Christmas tissue box hanging on my wall (from TiffPiusBaldy(: ), I took it out and placed it next to me.
Last night's lack of sleep resulted in a greeeaaattt difficulty dragging myself out of bed and home to go see the doctor. I hate cough mixturesss. EEEEE

I'm just gonna stay home alll day, watching Lost season 2(: , maybe taking naps in between, and uh, I don't know already. REST, that's all I need. REALLY do wanna recover by tmr.
Lunch = tao huay. I hate porridge. ):
In another 5 hours, I've to start cracking my head on what to eat for dinner.
Sucks to be sick!!

MY FAVOURITE PHOTO (from sports day)

Wednesday, May 10, 2006

You'll never know if you don't go; you'll never shine if you don't glow.

First things first;
AH GONG, YOU'RE THE ROCKEST!!!!!!
Ah gong scored a conversion and the penalty kicks that led TEAM SA into VICTORY today! YES! Told you guys, you all could do it! Wayyyyyyy to goooooooo! (:
Halfway through training, Jess had a message from Pam but we didn't know the score, so I called Hr and YAY! We were rejoicing for them on the field!
Even Hockey played a superb game! Putting up a strong fight and drew with the defending champs (Raffles) 0-0!!
*
Saturday is just THREE days away.
And right now, I'm down with a super bad flu (I'm like blowing my nose every 2 minutes, I know it sounds really exaggerated, but that's what's happening right now) and I've completely lost my voice. I think training today just made it worse, as much as I don't wish to think so.
Please let me recover by Friday. pleasepleaseplease. I really do wanna play, and I can't perform as well if I'm down.
Estee led us in a very touching & heartwarming prayer, that it reached out into our cold and hardened hearts, till many broke down in tears. Something we can't explain to by standers, but what the 10 of us standing in that circle, truly understood. We'll work on it.
So we were told to set our individual and team goals; and mine will be:
  • look out for gaps
  • perfect switches
  • always have a plan B, C, D, ... in mind
  • call for moves/ listen out to team mates

And for team;

  • better & more communication
  • more trust in one another
  • stand deep, like really deep
  • proper execution of moves
  • flexibility/ adaptibility of the mind
  • encouragements please.

=)

The J2s really want this, cos it means so much more to us than just a Cup champs or a _______ champs. Besides achieving the Champion Cup, we would have finally achieved to be a better team- better comm, better trust, and simply- just a team. ONE team.

Sigh, yeah. Skipping school tmr cos I'm feeling really terrible. Sorry yarns & kelly, we'll go for Fondue soooon =D

The over excessive blowing of my nose is really hurting my nose. I think it's gonna peel soon.

AH GONG YOU SO ROCK (:
Please take care of yourself. (:

"Why are you so difficult, Phil?"

13 May 2006, Saturday.
0900 Hours.
Turf City.

We are all geared up (well, not really maybe) for it. And most importantly, to beat that particular team that we've been DYING to prove our worth to. 0oooooh, I can't wait.
But first, it's intensive training everyday til Friday, and perfection of switches (I think we're nearly there!)

*
So much has happened in the past 4 days. With shopping with mommy then having a teacher bumping into a classmate and I in Suntec (we didn't see him), to Star burst(: [YAY thanks!] and Carls Jr for dinner and the walk to Bugis from Suntec on Saturday, to a damn saddening Sunday with tuition and a pathetic ugly chicken puff from Star bucks for dinner and an "intense talk" on Sunday. Physics test which I hope I don't get a single digit for and the super screwed up training and cut from distractions on Monday, to a wet Tuesday, I'm barely keeping up.

Normally, emotions and thoughts'd just fill my mind. But today, it's blank while I'm sitting on my bed and typing this.

Chemistry Tutorial due tomorrow awaits me,
I've yet to reply a few messages,
My throat hurts,
My eye lids weigh a ton,
but somehow, I miss the virtual world.
Yet, I'm appearing offline.

I'm re-running for 2.4 on Thurs though I already got an A but it's way past personal expectations ):
Anyway, running helps lose weight! Besides, I was running on an empty stomach, dehydrated body, and a drained body.
With us running out of school at 115 and up the slopes of CCAB to watch the (exciting!) volleyball match and running back down CCAB and into school cos we were rather late for PE, it just made me more exhausted. Like accumulated from Monday's training and the lack of sleep/ rest.

The volleyball girls lost really marginally, but it's all right. Let's fight back for 3rd position. (: Go team sa!

*

Talking to yarns today somehow made my day. I feel like, I haven't talked to her for so long.
And it made me realise, how important a handphone is, cos without it, we aren't communicating as frequent as before. BUT, we still are, and I'm truly feeling you my crabby love(:

And somehow everything related to sports that I did today seemed exceptionally draining and tiring. Maybe it was cos of the empty stomach. ):

Dearest called today. (: I feel like killing her. Okay, but I promised I won't.
Silly erzi dearest(: Please take care of yourself! (I'm nagging, I'm nagging! Tsk!)

Oh, and plastic face told me something SERIOUSLY amusing today. Like so so so hilarious and I hope it isn't who I think it is! HAHAHHAHAA.

running low on the brain juice.

(Btw, Louis, thanks for your locker(: and that's if you even see this. I've thanked you personally already anyway, on the behalf of all of us! Yay(: )

Apathy protects us?

You know how teachers/ adults are always telling us- "learn to see things from a different perspective", especially when it came to Pw, and how it's applicable to life, work, etc?

Yeah, I finally did.
Yesterday, I saw life through the eyes of the many different kinds.
I saw life, through the eyes of a broken hearted, an open hearted, a single hearted, a wounded heart.
I witnessed life through the eyes of the discouraged, the confused, the hopeless, the weakened, the optimist, the pessimist.

It's all about choices, your wants, your needs, your hopes and your expectations actually. All we need to do, is address them, clear the clogged up drain, excrete the excess, puke out the problems, and clean up the mess. What do you want, what do you need, what do you hope for, and what are you expecting.

*
The NE interview was okay. I guess everyone spoke a bit, and we shared a fine bit.
Hope the school gets it, I guess. Otherwise, it'd be our fault huh?

An interesting conversation took place with a friend before that-
Him: "Good luck for the interview."
Me: "Yeah, thanks!"
Him: "I hope you get the award."
Me: "Huh? No no no no noooo, it's for the school!"
Him: "Oh! Huh? Is it! Hahaha. Okay."
*
For the entire week of school this week, there are always periods of loooooong breaks in between where we rot. Like I told Star, "Hey, guess what? We're rotting again."
What's the point of going to school huh. And so, this is what you do to kill time. Not only taking photos, or listening to music on your iPod, or enjoying the air con of an Lt, but flooding your poor friend's phone with photos of the two of you.

*

My mom just called.
Mom: "Are you going out today?"
Me: "Don't know yet, why?"
Mom: "Can you go out with me?"
Me: "What do you wanna do?"
Mom: "Go shopping?"
Me: "Mmm.. see how la."

When I don't really feel like shopping, she asks me to go. When I want to and I need her, she's hardly there.

Happy birthday, Calistar!
(Btw, I forgot. Nothing, no one, and forever are absolutes. We can't entirely agree on absolutes when it comes to Gp right? We can't. )

PhiLs Spain is great!! I'm so tired... says:hey!!!

PhiLs Spain is great!! I'm so tired... says:I bought your shoe!!!

dancing with the demons of regret. says:OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

PhiLs Spain is great!! I'm so tired... says:are you going to pay me back

dancing with the demons of regret. says:how muchhhh

dancing with the demons of regret. says:and can i have it sooooonnnnnnn

That's my Sis, far away in I don't know where now. She keeps travelling from here to there. AND YAY I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT MY SHOE. (yar but she wants me to pay her 88euro but I'm avoiding her =D )
CAN I HAVE IT BEFORE YOU COME BACK/IN JULY PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEEEE?

Chioness multiplied by the number of air particles. (:

[edit] ;
The cheapest shipping from France is 24.99 Euro, that'd make my shoe close to 230$ sing! SIAO! But I really do want it before July, though by then, I can tell my sis that it'd make a p-e-r-f-e-c-t birthday gift. sigh. Singapore, please don't bring it in yet. Maybe only in Dec? Heh.
[/edit]

There's a fine line between friendship and relationship. I have bold it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIUZY(:

With reference to Tuesday's entry, no no, nothing scandalous.
I think we've doubted each other enough, got mad at each other enough, hidden too much stuff for our own good, and felt like we don't know each other at the same time, but we sorted out the misunderstandings.
The phone call after the friendly twisted the ends of my lips, the sms that came after that made me worried.
But no matter what, you're my sweets, and I'm yours, and a sweet without another sweet, can never be sweeets.

*

So I missed Wednesday's friendly with Sgoon JC (I was feeling miserably terrible), which I heard was a total disaster, not because we lost or whatsoever, but because of how unreasonably biased the ref (aka THEIR coach) was, and how HILARIOUS their touch rules/ style of playing is.

Come 13 May, you'll taste true Saints touch spirit please. Bring it on. Really. And then, we'll see who's the team that's going back to their school and ANNOUNCING WHO THEY BEAT. FLAT. GRRRR.

*

I am finally done with Napfa! (unofficially) There's only the dreadful six rounds left, but it's not much of a problem. Yay(: After next tuesday, no more rotting of hours for pe!
Cos for the past few days in school, there're just certain hours smack in the middle of the day I rot away. USELESS.

My Lost cds are still not working. I think it's the dvd drive in the laps. ARRGH.

I WONDER IF YOU GUYS WILL EVER DO THIS MUCH FOR US, REALLY.
WHAT ARE WE TO YOU? JUST AN ADDITION TO THE INCREASE IN NUMERICAL FIGURES? OR STANDBYS YOU JUST TALK TO FOR THE SAKE OF IT.
I'D RATHER YOU THREE, INDIVIDUALLY.

Tuesday, May 02, 2006

memory ;

Memory
Fading from the mind like a melody
Tangled in the reverie of time
It's so hard to say goodbye
And endlessly
Talking to the angels of your heart
Dancing with the demons of regret
It's so hard to let you go

Paint a picture in my mind
A life I had but left behind
Baby when you call my name will you still care

Tenderly
Slip away to find a better place
Just flying flying flown away from home
Now you stand alone
Now you stand alone
(Ronin)
*
Sometimes you make me wonder who you really are, what you really say, and what you really mean.
If this is what you want, go ahead.
If they are who you need, go ahead.
We don't see why and how we are just your stepping stones to a step closer to those further.

See toh, see toh,
what to do?
I just need you.
Seems like what we've guessed is true.

On a sadder note, my lost cds aren't working. How sad? ):
Napfa on Thurs! Friendly with SR tmr!
Ah gong, please take care!

Gone going ;

This is really random, but you know, if there's one thing I'd really miss in Malan,
it's gotta be the house comm room.

Yeah, though it's small (but not as small as the one now ): ), you have to go up a flight of stairs to get there, you have to go through the hall, you can't go in/stay too late cos it's inside the hall, I still love it. So much.

It was there, that I spent my last few days in Malan. Where we'd all gather straight after assembly, skipping all the lectures/ lessons without worrying that teachers will ever catch us, cos it really isn't very known. Where we could just slack our entire day away in the comfortable air conditioned environment with our stereo switched on, playing carrom on the super duper smooth board. Where we laid down on the tables, stared into the ceilings and had goood looong talks, where we watched the staff soccer match from the window and had an absolutely good view of everything. Where we had our last meeting of the year, regarding House Cup champs and had sooo much disagreements. Where we were, we; where we were, us.
Besides, we painstakingly took time off our busy schedules to clear it up on one Saturday so that we could use it! And it was really, so damned clean compared to before.

Then again, last year, we were so excited to move on to Woodsville and leave that small room (which could actually, accomodate all 26 of us, plus trophies, props, junk), so that we could have our own house rooms. And we even talked about limiting to the excess to just the members of the alliance (read: hose & romanis) but wake up to reality man, we were denied individual rooms and now have one that's even smaller than half our previous, with no air condition, or even space to fit all 26 of us. In fact, it lacks proper ventilation and we can't even stay in there for more than 5 minutes. I'm sure you'd rather not.

Okay, I sound so much like I'm complaining, but I'm not really. I just miss the old one. There's just so many memories kept there. Esp the awfully chocolate ice cream from Yarns after symbolic move dry run when I was feeling super down. (: (:

And you know, our gallery in Malan has been repainted. ): It's really saddening.

Maybe I just miss post promo days, cos I know I'll never be enjoying a post-cts/ post-promos till 17th November 2006.

Can't wait. =)

Btw, have you watched I not stupid too? If you haven't, please do. It triggers your innermost emotions and lets you get in touch with the sensitive side, I swear. Half the time through the movie, I could barely see the screen clearly cos of the water that blurs my vision.

Gosh, I'm so slack.

5 random things about me:
  1. I like reading my old entries(:
  2. I hate waiting
  3. I hate queues esp reeeaaalll long and slow moving ones
  4. I really think actions speak louder than words. So much louder
  5. I can't stand it when people say what they don't/ won't do. It's disappointing, really.

Goodnight, my friends. I feel a fever. (wow check out the time)

Btw, the sight of May 2006 on my handphone/blog scares me. Really.

Better together.

There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song I could sing
But I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a, shoebox of photographs
With sepiatone loving
Love is the answer,
At least for most of the questions in my heart
Like why are we here? and where do we go?
And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy and
Sometimes life can be deceiving
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

MMM its always better when we're together
Yeah, look at the stars when we're together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

And all of these moments
Just might find their way into my dreams tonight
But I know that they'll be gone
When the morning light sings
And brings new things
For tomorrow night you see
That they'll be gone too
Too many things I have to do
But if all of these dreams might find their way
Into my day to day scene
I'd be under the impression
I was somewhere in between
With only two
Just me and you
Not so many things we got to do
Or places we got to be
We'll Sit beneath the mango tree now

Its always better when we're together
Mmmm, we're somewhere in between together
Well, it's always better when we're together
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

MMmmmm MMMmmmm Mmmmmm
I believe in memories
They look so, so pretty when I sleep
Hey now, and when I wake up,
You look so pretty sleeping next to me
But there is not enough time,
And there is no song I could sing
And there is no, combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We're Better together.

It's such a beautiful song.
I was listening to it on my way home. (:

"There's so much more than empty conversations filled with empty words."
