JamPacked.

Things to do Today:

  1. Get enough rest, to make up for previous nights, especially since there's training
  2. Meet Seetoh to go down to Thomson Prata Place for Weiyarn's Birthday lunch
  3. *Ahem*
  4. Weiyarn's birthday lunch
  5. Training/friendly at our favourite field
  6. Meet Feiiers then rush down to Millenia Walk
  7. Soccer together with leeseefeeleeshearlimenchzechingkwa! (modified!) at some McDonald's hopefully near Millenia.
  8. Music Marathon from 230am-330am.
  9. What're we gonna do after that?

I'm still rather SORE I'm missing out the soccer party at Nick's house. )))):

**

So I got woken up by a phone call, about how sucky the Bio Paper was, and that they've all ended! Yay(: Now we can all celebrate properly. =D

Then I tried going back to sleep (I'm still really tired. I'm not grumpy la!) but I couldn't, so I'm online doing some research right now, for something important. But I seem to be failing.

Oh no Oh no. I only have very little time left. ):

Dear Yarns,

Just wanted to pop by my blog before I slept to post this entry,
just in case you come by my blog tomorrow while I'm still fast asleep.
I didn't forget.
Never did.
Never will.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRABBYARNS.

Everything I have to say to you, just needs to be found deep down in our hearts.
So much more than words.
And to sum everything up,
ILOVEYOU.
(Yes, it's oversaid. But we know, we mean it.)
Exciting- your 18th will be, allright?
Make it a sm:)ey special one.

companion?

Black currants and music are the best company when you're studying.
Ice cream doesn't do it as well. (since they make you worry about the amount of fats you're consuming)

For now, it's ITALY AUSSIE time.

Gee, I really wanna cut my hair. I've been breaking too many hairbands, and I just got one today (that costs 4.50$) but it's really funkily orange-brown mixed. But it doesn't serve well as a hairband. It keeps slipping off my head. (Yeah la, pok, my head is very big.) Boo ):

(GRRR. Two episodes of my TLW restarted its download when it was already 96 and 97 %! TMD!)

[Edit @ 0101]
Italy won, cos of a penalty granted at the very last minute. Though I wanted Italy to win, I don't really think that penalty was well deserved and half of me was hoping they'd go into extra time so I'd have more company. Heh.

NIKE VID.
Go watch!

(I'm not sleeping yet, cos after a soccer match, my brain's on a high and I can't sleep immediately =\)

~

In Angel's language,
"I'm frigging shithole dead for blocks."

Oh well, like I say EVERY exam-
Since 4 weeks can pass so fast,
4 days will past even faster yeah. (:

Thursday! I love you, please come. =D

Yarr.
+ Empty talks that never work out.

Yes. Brother B, I miss youuuuuuu. Haha.

Oh yeah, and since tomorrow's paper is an afternoon one.
I'M GONNA WATCH THE ENGLAND MATCH!! =D
AND I'M SUPPORTING ECUADOR! WOOHOO

Burn those carbs!

Extreme (un)productive tuition that ended off with JUMPING JACK building with lego-like toys and joyful laughters of how proud they are of themselves (I gave up halfway and sat down with Tiffos' poddie) to complete that cooool structure.

Then, a tausaa baooo, ( I love Baos, fyi. Tausa ones esp. =D)
a bus ride,
some ice cream from Daily Scoop (Lychee Martini),
and runs.
Thank you two, for taking turns to run behind me and make sure I was okay. =D (Awwww)

Dinner @ Soup Kitchen (since the sushi place was closed alr. ): ), where they had no more signature sam sui chicken! ):
And no more (alot of other) stuff!
So we settled for some not-too-bad-either tasting food,
relived our childhood by sitting on Merry-Go-Rounds, that are of course, WAYY to small for us.

Then, watching the match at some KOPITIAM, which is really quite fun cos of the atmosphere and everything.
Cos you can just SCRRREEEAAAMM without anyone staring weirdly at you.
Then again, girls' CHEEEER is most probably drowned by the many many male grown ups who are soooo much more into soccer than you are.
But funfun, nonetheless. Except the fact that there's this orange dude who suddenly shifts from a corner to sit right smack in the middle infront of the Huge ass tv, blocking your vision, so all you see is, the two corners of the tv, and a bloody big (ugly) head.

And anyhoo, YAY TO GERMANY. (:
(I feel very sad for Ballack ): )
I can't watch the England match, cos GP paper's the next day. BOOOOOOOO.

I THINK I'M GONNA GET MY TIGERS TOMORROW. I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE.
PLEASE REPLY MEEE.

P/s: Yarns, I think I got it. :D

ILOVE/HATECHOCOLATE

Actually, it says I LOVE/HATE CHOCOLATE.
But you can see HATE in this picture, and a very faint LOVE in black. Look hard.
Cool right? That's her shirt for you. Hugs darling.
Studying with her SURE is productive.
Both in terms of academic, friendship, health (cos we ate lotsa stuff!) and welfare! (She got me some Kit Kat hazelnut thing to make sure I was okay.)

Then off to Starbucks for more studying. (I just bummed away)
Java Chip is hoho-chocolatey! Before going home. Yeah.

IM GOING RUNNING TMR YAY!

Rewind life, to when you were just born. So much reminiscing about the past 18/19 years of our life together. (Okay, not like we knew each other at birth.) From how we were pretty innocent naive kids to I'm-too-shy-to-talk-to-him/her to I-think-I'm-all-grown-up to I-really-am-all-grown-up, and finally to now; I-wanna-stay-forever-young!!

So yep, after knowing each other since y-o-u-n-g, and growing up together, drifting apart, coming back together, annual visits to his house, missing this year's cos I was down with flu ): , cancelling our planned outings for a few times, WE MEET AGAIN!

Yay brother br&on. =D And we concluded that this world is SMALL. Seems like he knows this person whom I know personally and someone related to him in some special way previously knows someone related to me and someone I know is team mates in Council with that someone and blah blah blah. Alot of inter relations. And our Dads just met up on Sunday! We were wondering if Shawn still talks to Philifer, and Nicholas with Pandy, but oh well. We still talk!

And after bumping into m.azing&sis/chow/alice, we were saying how he's gonna bring Fat Nick along next time we meet cos I really miss Nicholas! And boy oh boy, time flies. He's Sec One already! I still remember how he used to be this small fat cute little kid running around with my Brother with a Gameboy in one hand and the other, either snacks/drink.

Yarrrr. So in a day, from Heeren; where they don't sell my hairband anymore (yes, I broke it AGAIN.) we walked to Far East to scout for Tiffos' present where I was having a major headache from the lack of ideas/creativity on what to get and he had this perfect idea. We planned to leave for Cine after some FRIED MARS BARS (classic!) but detoured to Plaza Sing instead to check out some Double Paddle and (ultra multra) expensive drumsticks.

Aaaannnnddddd he is not a Bad Boy, btw. Tattoo is a form of Art and Piercings are expressions. (He has more piercings than me ): )
I can't (damn it) study with Him cos we end up talking like siao and instead of taking 40 mins to read 11 pages, I take 2 hours. WTH! But it was fun anyhow. And thanks for the CARAMEL ICE BLEND + YUPI GUMMY BEARS. =D
And there, at Scotts, we met Sherlyn (whom I know) with Dragon (whom He knows.)
See. Small world.

Lovely, ain't it.

NYDC. And the Big-O. =D

Okay, I admit.
I miss my sis. ): 5THJULY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CORRINE MARMSIEE!
*inserts plenty of hearts*

VIRGINIA MOOOOON.

"Virginia Moon"

Dearest constellation, heaven surroundin' you
Stay there, soft and blue. Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you tonight
Sweetest invitation, breaking the day in two
Feelin' like I do, Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you tonight

And now our shades become shadows in your light
In the morning wind we're through and tomorrow rescues you,
I will say goodnight

Secret fascination, whisper a quiet tune
Hear me callin' you, Virginia Moon, I'll wait for you tonight

And now our shades become shadows in your light
In the morning wind we're through and tomorrow rescues you,
I will say goodnight

And now our shades become shadows in your light
In the morning wind we're through and tomorrow rescues you,
I will say goodnight

a childhood life, maybe?

After receiving a phone call from a very upset/stressed/ feeling-all-screwed-up close friend, and understanding how upset another friend felt when everything fell apart,

my mind is now, a blank.

One thing is, I truly believe in the whole "speak of the devil" theory.
Mmhmm. Shrugs.

Bye, I'm gonna pay a visit to Gerrard now. Awwwh.

TRANSATLANTICISM.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE

The atlantic was born today and i'll tell you how...
The clouds above opened up and let it out.

I was standing on the surface of a perforated sphere
When the water filled every hole.
And thousands upon thousands made an ocean,
Making islands where no island should go.
Oh no.

Those people were overjoyed; they took to their boats.
I thought it less like a lake and more like a moat.
The rhythm of my footsteps crossing flood lands to your door have been silenced forever more.
The distance is quite simply much too far for me to row
It seems farther than ever before
Oh no.

I need you so much closer.
I need you so much closer.
I need you so much closer.
I need you so much closer.

I need you so much closer.
I need you so much closer.
I need you so much closer.
I need you so much closer.

So come on,
So come on,
So come on,
So come on

And we feel like rain, when words all sound the same.

How apt, that just last night, I was watching L word, and Marina was talking about our wants and needs. And isn't it true? That as soon as you've got it, it's no longer a WANT. Thus, man can NEVER have what they want. Don't you agree?

Today, I learnt soo much about Priorities versus Importance; Needs versus Wants.

I guess everyone has their own priorities, but is your Number One priority, necessarily the one which is most important to you? I guess there's an extremely fine line between these two, and we just need to clarify it with ourselves.

Maybe to some, your Number One priority is the most important. Maybe to others, the only reason why the certain thing is your Number One priority is because of Obligations? Restrictions? Pressure?
Like take for example, Studies. Right, I guess that's probably everyone's Number One priority right now with the coming (@$#^%$&^^@#%$) Blocks. So is it because it is really what's the most important thing to you right now? Or is it because it is a responsibility you are to bear, an obligation as a student, pressure from parents?

And honestly, I don't even know what my Number One priority is right now. Though I really think it's loved ones and friends. Cos though it's the f\king last week of Term Break, I'm still trying to squeeze in as many "dates"/"catch-up"s with friends as possible. And gawd, there's tuition to make time for too, yeah.

Okay, now, Needs and Wants. Like from the Lyrics of 'Fix You';
"You get what you want, but not what you need."
Soooo, is what you Want really what you Need actually?
(Okay, I decided not to give an example. Haa)

Okay la, enough of trying-to-sound-so-profound/philosophical. (hurhur)

Wow, I really do want to go running/ scout for the tree top trail in Mac Ritchie, or take a relaxing walk under a beautifully star lit sky.

And come to think of it, I really NEED a Bigger brain capacity, hur.

Oh well, HAPPY FATHERS' DAY anyway. Here dad; is your DEAD (melted) chocolate cake from BAKERZIN. (He complained it was toooo rich. ): ) And your shirt from Esprit that make me so broke I nearly couldn't go home. (And it's too small. Ah shucks.)

Tagged.

By Yarns;

Once you are tagged you MUST write an entry about 6 weird habits/things you do/odd information, as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names:

1. I eat my hashbrowns with maple syrup. (:
2. I hate apple-juice-no-sugar-added!
3. I say a prayer every night before I sleep (but I don't think this is a weird habit la!)
4. As much as I love hurdling, deep down, I'm scared of tripping.
5. I tend to spell 'Binomial' as 'BiOnomial' and say 'Censorship' as 'cenSHorship' or 'censorSip'
6. I like to eat my cream before drinking my blended coffee. (:

I tag:
# LLL dear
# Cheryl Tan
# Jaya
# Erzi dearest
# Mr. OZH
# Vernsie Fgbabyd!

btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :

The Silence in Black and White.

At this point of time, when the score of Argentina to Serbia & Montenegro (I still don't know how to spell their name) is 6-0, I would like to say, I decided to come back to my room, face the four walls and table with books/work/notes sprawled all over, type away on my lappie, because I cannot bring myself to watch the match any further. In the first place, I left the couch when it was 3-0. After brushing my teeth, it was 4-0. After coming into the room, it's 5-0. After reading some blogs, it's 6-0. Therefore, I am typing this entry.

It's really demoralising isn't it? Firstly, a player, and very importantly, a defender gets injured during warm up. And the defence is so important since they're playing against Argentina!
Secondly, this dude gets his second yellow card so he's gonna miss his next match. (But then again, that's only if the team moves on.) Thirdly, it's only first half and Argentina was up 3-0. Fourthly, this other dude who is supposedly their best player, and a striker gets sent off with a red card for diving. And to make things worse, the country's facing some political problems and is/has split up to be 2 seperate nations.

Gosh, it's just so sad, isn't it. All those feeling really happy now must be those who have some financial gain from Argentina's victory and Serbia & Montenegro's disadvantage.
Omg, so sad laaaaaaaaaaa.

(btw, have you realised? It's 16june already. I have yet to receive a phonecall to go get my tigers! ): )

Secretly Slipping Handwritten Notes Under Your Door.

Oh gees, I told myself today is CHEMISTRY DAY! And I had to finish up Kinetics, Ionic Equilibrium and NMR, but I switched on lappy for music and ended up wasting my time on it. With what, I can't say. Cos I don't even know either! Growl.

So this is what I can say about my past few days: (In random order)

Tuition. Physics. Training. Low blood. Low sugar. Nearly blacking out. Iced peach tea. Chocolates from BenSoh. Sticky Rice. Date with Vernsie baby. Mcdonalds. Sushi Tei. Reminiscing. Soccer. M&Ms from Zong. Bumping into Feline, Tan Xuan. Tuition. Strawberry Haagen Dazs, Spain's #9, Black letter written in Gold, incorrectly correct? very very correct! Multi coloured notes, oreo cheesecake with burnt chocolate, Sweeeeet, Planet Mars, Basketball, L word, SHARMEN, Argentina jersey, Starbucks, Banana caramel frap, Total chocolate eclair, Training. Photo editing, MTV watching, Someday we'll know. A phonecall with Dearest. Mos Burger. Apple Crumble. Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant across the road. Half time interval. Fish Bee Hoon. Orange juice. Tai du. Study. Failed attempts. Cut hair? (nope ): )

Okay, inconsistency of full stops and commas there. I don't know why.

A phonecall with dearest.

"I had a short phonecall with Dearest earlier.
God I miss Her like crazy.
We're sorta playing hide and seek.
One minute Im away for a rugby tour
She tags saying what a bad son I am yadayada.
And when I get back, She's gone for a camp.[ I wanted to call You okay! ]
And then, I leave again and She gets back from camp.
She tags, calling me an IDIOT.
So this time, before I go off again, I called her.
In case she calls me a Moron or what not.
Haha, I still love You no matter what Mum."

I love you too, erzi dearest.
Thanks for the phone call on Monday night. (:

like sharmen sweet. (:

you're supposed to see ice cream (in prep for soccer fever!) but all you see is the reflection of lipton tea behind.
i miss you, yarns. and yes, i demand an LK date soon, too.

banana pancakes! (:

Cant you see that its just raining
Aint no need to go outside...
But Baby, You hardly even notice
When I try to show you this
Song is meant to keep ya
From doing what your supposed to
Like waking up too early
Maybe we can sleep in
Ill make you banana pancakes
Pretend like its the weekend now

And we could pretend it all the time
Cant you see that its just raining
Aint no need to go outside
But just maybe, laka ukulele
Mommy made a baby
Really don't mind the practice
Cause your my little lady
Lady lady love me
Cause I love to lay here lazy
We could close the curtains
Pretend like there's no world outside

And we could pretend it all the time
Cant you see that its just raining
Aint no need to go outside
Aint no need aint no need Mmmm MMmmm
Cant you see cant you see
Rain all day
And I don't mind.

The telephone is singing
Ringing its too early
Don't pick it up
We don't need to we got everything
We need right here
And everything we need is enough
Just so easy
When the whole world fits inside of your arms
Don't really need to pay attention to the alarm
Wake up slow, yeah wake up slow
Baby, You hardly even notice
When I try to show you this
Song is meant to keep ya
From doing what your supposed to
Like waking up too early
Maybe we can sleep in
Ill make you banana pancakes
Pretend like its the weekend now

And we could pretend it all the time
Can't you see that it's just raining
Aint no need to go outside
Aint no need, Aint no need
Rain all day and I really really really don't mind
Can't you see cant you see,
You gotta wake up slow

Shit. ): I didn't study today at all.

Hello Mexico/Iran!

Going back on course.

Oh no oh no, I am supposed to study extra today cos tuition's cancelled.
But I'm spending my afternoon watching soccer! Grr. The Trinidad/Sweden match though, was a waste of my time and now I can't take my eyes off the Argentina/Ivory Coast match. ):

Halfway through the Sweden/Trinidad match, I felt so bored so I came by lappy and burnt a cd. I think I spent nearly an hour, or maybe more on it. ): Waste timeeee. But I'm really satisfied with it. Haha.

Earlier this morning, I watched Pride & Prejudice! Keira knightley. (: (:
Okay, my life seems so post A level-ish right now, doesn't it? =

**

House comm camp was -fill in the blanks yourself-
Exciting, I suppose, for the J1s?
A waste of time for us. ):

Yeah, but we had our fair share of house comm chalet, and bonding time, didn't we?
Like a last opportunity to slack time away, sit down and talk cock, play cards and have fun, before we go our separate ways, with a life too pre occupied with books/papers/notes/tests to bother about the remaining 25 souls.

Games in the morning, where we totally dirtied the track and had a really hard time clearing up. Bus ride to NUS where we had to settle our shirts.
Lodging was fine, was initially located at level 1 but the 2 venn j1 guys very nicely and generously volunteered to swap with us to the 2nd since male toilets are at level 1&4, ladies at 2&3. =D Gentlemen! Celine/Charlene & Jien/Tiff as neighbours!

I don't really have as much to talk about the camp, as the j1s and maybe other j2s, but if there was anything, anything at all that I'd take away from the camp, it'd be the 830pm gathering at the dining hall, where we turned off all lights, lit a candles, said our thanks to the special/important ones who made a difference, shed our happy/sad tears.

Especially when my dear captain (whom I believe was the first to cry) started the chain rxn (especially how I so strongly believe crying is so damnit contagious) that got my tear glands working unknowingly, cos everything he said just sounded so familiar, like how he is narrating a play where you act as one of those rather important characters, and you are one of those who knows what is going on the best. And then, he stands up after his speech, and gives the director; the creator of the play a big fat hug, with a tear stained face.

As 24 other faces watch you, irresistably, I pulled Tiffoos up with me, ran up to the narrator, and our director, and gave a big warm family hug. I love LoyFatt o6.

Can you feel the love from the photograph? (: (:

**

Oh yeah, another thing I'd take with me from camp, was the late night talks I had with my Juniors, though Sharon ran off somewhere half way and I believe we all know where she went. So anyways, we stayed up to help them finish up their I (heart) U, thank U card. From silly-ly freaky stuff like Scary Movie to real-ly freaky stuff, to crazy stuff, funny stuff, and sleepy us. Lights out were supposed to be at 3am but Tiffooos and I stayed til 320? Oops. And of course, we had fun eating all the junk too. Isn't it beautiful to see how your juniors are this close knitted? And it's even more beautiful when the seniors and juniors can just sit down and have some fun together. We hardly got to do that in the past, and that's one thing I definitely regret. Not being able to mingle more with the 5th house comm. I don't even know all 25 of their names. But at least now I can say, I know all 25 of my juniors' names!

**

Like everyone's quoting: "the 6th house comm steps down on the 6th of june, 2006.
the 7th house comm steps up on the 7th of june, 2006"

**

Oh yeah, and qi jian was really long and action packed and made me a little sleepy. Heh.

Kiwi cup yesterday was like an EXACT repetition of what happened in the Police Cup. We were down by 12 points, but we won yesterday's match, 12-7. (We won 15-10 the other time) So it's like, us losing the "group match" and winning the "finals". But then again, in Kiwi cup, they total up the score, so overall, raffles still won. But I believe the guys played well. So good job guys! (: And my dear boss, I cabbed down to school JUST to make sure I was in time to watch you lead the hakka. (:

The England match was a total waste of my time.

No soccer tonight cos there's training tomorrow. I'm not really looking forward to training. ): But I'm kinda looking forward to the team. (:

P/s: NIGELLINWEIXIANANGELEXGIRLFRIEND, where's my fried mars bars?

Skittles makes me happy, so should it make you. (:

Just thought I'd pop by before I leave the comforts of Mommy's love, my comfy bed, the radio, the air conditioning, the laptop for the love of 25 other individuals, 25 other new strangers, 5 (un)familiar adults supervision, non-air conditioned yushofishak hall, and a brand new surrounding- our very own local University.

3 full days, wrapping up with the last in Town.

See you in 3. =) hugs and kisses to everyone out there! ♥

"Today's special"

After a 5pm Carls' Jr dinner of a Charbroiled Chicken club, a cup of Zapple+ Sprite, and a box of Cheese fries & beef,
I had a bowl of extremely addictive (in your word) seafood tom yam soup from STICKY RICE (love the food there) at early 10pm, and immediately after that a bowl of ice jelly cocktail dessert.

Oh Yummy. I'm craving for more tom yam!

But Oh no. Fats.

Brown is the IN colour today! Everybody's in brown. =D

And may I reiterate my point that nice skirts are hard to find. And "nice" includes a reasonable length, of comfy material, pleasant design, reasonable price, cutting that fits my body shape...... (and maybe more when I think of it.)

Last night, I couldn't sleep when I tried at 2am. So I switched on my laptop (after switching it off for 15 mins), looked through my music store, picked out my favourites, picked my favourites out of those favourites, put them in a playlist, made sure they fit 80min/ 80mb (yeah I'm damn stupid, I thought the storage space was only 80mb but it was 700mb ): ), played one song after another to make sure they flowed well, if they didn't, reshuffle, then play one song after another again, burn the playlist into a cd, switched off my laptop, play the cd, went to bed.
It was 4am!

AND FINALLY!
After 3 or 4 weeks, I'm back in tuition, tmr.

Last but not least,
BYE DADDY! Have a safe trip to Kun ming!

What a random, disjointed entry.

(I'm too lazy to do anymore changes. But I definitely will. Don't really like how bloggie looks like now!)

A frightening magic I cling to.

So I told myself, "Stay home and study!"
But I ended up eating.
What's wrong with eating, you may ask?
Well nothing la. Just that eating excessively isn't very good lorrrrr.

Things I ate today:

  • A ba zhang containing eggs, mushrooms, chestnut, and meat, which I didn't really enjoy
  • 1 peach marigold jelly (:
  • 1 peanut butter waffle
  • 3 otah =D
  • Stingray
  • & lala for dinner!
  • 1 longan marigold jelly (:

Well, halfway through my work I decided I was hungry so I went down to get stuff. So unlike me, actually. Cos usually I'd rather just stuff chocolates.

**

So much for the mental prep, the sleepless nights, the nightmare of my poor sweep d, the brooding over no-more-touch-balls, the I'm-gonna-miss-training feeling,

COS THE COMPETITION GOT POSTPONED!

Well, we're taking this as a blessing in disguise. Though I don't dare to think about how "good" our ball handling skills can still be. And how "FIT" we are gonna be man. Gosh. All those BSA and track sprints for two games!

We played 2 games before the rain got really heavy. Raffles and Ij. 1-0, 3-0 respectively. And when we were all psyched up for the next (most impt) game with Nj, it rained, thunderstormed, lightninged. GRRRRR.

Sunshine specially came by with a B-E-A-UUUUTIFUL Sunflower =D
And a moomooo MEHMEHHH sponge to "soak up the sun" (in her words). Thanks sunshine! Love you plenty!

Then the team left to change, and set off to Ps.
Oh but while waiting for everyone to change up, Ben soh called Bella, and passed her FOUR freaking tubs of ISLAND CREAMERY- reverse-o, mango, strawberry and nutella.

Oh-am-gee la. That was really sweet of him. We enjoyed it in the comforts of proper chairs, tables and air conditioning in PS food court (oh btw, he got spoons from ikea for us too). Then some left for xmen 3, sweets yanns & I left for United Square to meet ah gong & co.

Dinner at the Katong Laksa stall outside Starbucks where we had the BATTLE OF DISGUSTING COCKLES! And many Jesse moments (like Kodak moments)

Then I had the looongest wait at the train station (haha, no la, we were just talking) and home sweet home. + the company of long-time-no-talk-angel/ex gf. (: hoho

House Comm Madness.

(Yay our shirts are ready!)
