Sporty, Mature or Girl Next Door?

Hi! I'm Miss Sporty. Balls, racquets, bats; you name it, I love it. I love a good workout and I'd like to invite you to join me someday. I'm Miss Sporty."
x12 (not including rehearsals)

That's how many times we had to officially repeat ourselves today at camp. I didn't stay long and I saw quite a bit of familiar faces. It was kinda awkward how the guys entered the rooms through the connecting toilet to where we were and almost every group would ask "Is that all?", or "What's the purpose of this?" at the end of our speech.
S was telling me how this guy made Miss Sporty his choice and he decided to play punk and ask, "YOU SURE NOT?!". It made the rest of them laugh, I would've if I heard it too. =)
And an old OG mate said Hi and identified himself. (Good thing he did cos he looked really different but I also managed to spot his name from his identity tag. MUAHAHA)

Left with S for Tampines after that. Imagine B.oonlay --> Tampines = ZZZZZZZ.
It was really a long journey, my friends who stay in Tampines but not hall are heroes! =)

And all that hassle for Saturday: getting extra jerseys, printing
new sets, getting ball, getting players, settling reg form, waking up early, it was all worth it.

Verrrrrrrrr-monster!
We did it.
We won.

Okay, so it wasn't exactly an official tournament, nor was it the full team but but but we still did it.
And I hope this boosts the team morale, and each player believes in themselves more than they did before.

Sonny couldn't play cos I didn't register her, and permission from the people of higher positions was denied too(: Sorry dear but it was for your own good(:

Watched the boys' u20 matches after YouthInTouch where we saw little girls WITH ABS running. Full-grown abs, like six packs and all. Boy are we embarrassed to call ourselves sports people when we look at these 8, 9 year olds. :\
Dinnered at Newton with my favourite chengteng to end the day(: Yumyums(:

Friday;
Dinnered with the so-called Spare-tyre boyfriend (haha) aka arthurlimjinghui and herngs. Everybody was late so we had very little time to eat :( Caught Personal Effects starring Ashton Kutcher and Michelle Pfeiffer (?). Bad choice of place to watch (Lido omg haha) but pretty good movie. If you're the type with patience for a slow show, or the type who likes artsy films, go catch it. I kinda liked it though the spare tyre was semi-bored and very, very restless(:

PS: SEETOHWEIYANN IS BACK FROM HAMBURG(ER)!! :D

Thursday;
Visited Sonny at home with the new MJ-inspired nose (HAHA) with balloons and gummies(: Made a new friend, NOZZZZY which is a yellow ____________ . (Can't quite decide if it's a cow, dinosaur, ox, or ... ? )
Then friendly over at Dover(:
And dinner at Clementi where we got lost in an unfamiliar area, heh.

Oh life's good again,
But school's starting in a little more than a weeeeeek.

Agape.

There is no Love greater than that of God's.

This weekend, He reminded us of the meaning of that 4-lettered word.
A word we learnt since young, in our children's rhyme, from our parents/grandparents.
And the simplest form, yet the one most difficult to achieve is that of Self-sacrifice.
From John 3:16, we know, He has sacrificed The Best for us. And with that, there is nothing else God won't do for us, because He loves us.

How do You define Love?
In 1 Cor 13:4-7; the boundaries have been drawn.
I know I keep quoting these verses, but it serves as a reminder. Maybe to myself.
It is patient, and it is not proud.
We are taught to love our neighbours as ourselves, to love your enemy.
So how do we Love?

--------------------------------------------

Thursday; lunch at HollandV with Mrsdarcy and Wei'an,
followed by a series of quick shopping for the patient, and a (unintended sinful) food visit down to Crabby's. We tried to talk happy stuff/silly stuff and distract her from her discomfort and pain. I dare say to us, happyfood always works best(: + helium balloons! Nothing is as happy as helium balloons(: We got a H.arry Potter one  since she already had every other Get-well-soon balloon that caught our eye. The other two made a few phone calls to check the spelling of EXPELLIARMUS which we finally did, thanks to Wei'an(:

We had desserts from Da Paolo (supermothereffingkickassawesome!), the new kinder surprise, her Ahgong bought us Icecream from the Icecream man (old school but love it!) and we had more sugar rush from reminiscing the trigger happy JC days.

Dinner with Dxxx where we over ate, then shopped a little for destress(: Hah.
Thanks for telling me my nonexistent bicepped arms are huge. I love you very much. ROAR.

Friday: Church- A solemn, solemn Good Friday.
Yet, why is this Good Friday good? (For you to answer yourself)
Studied studied cried studied cried cried studied studied. :(

Saturday: The Bestie had me over so we could study together while not being in an airconditioned place (fluuu!) We had the clock resounding every hour, counting down to the bare hours left to my paper (she only starts much later!) and being fed by Y.fei + Dennis. They made ice cream (cookies&cream + Hazelnut) and durian puffs; so we just ate. And after dinner we had tangyuans too. Basically we just ate while studying. FATSSS. But it was happiness(:
So O/A levels. (:

Sunday; 8am service!! Went home to nap before meeting Penguin & PresAw(:
We came back to school earlier than I expected, later than they scheduled (heehee), dinnered, attempted studying and fantasized more business plans: UNITUT !?, Shared (un)funny jokes, shot each other weird stares everytime our phones rang....... OK UNPRODUCTIVE.
And we had supper. (:

----------------------------------

It's not in me to force His word unto my friends, but I hope all of you had your share of God's grace, God's love this weekend(:
Because I did(:

THERMO IN TWO DAYS! :(

The Smell and Its Feel.

Made a trip down to Alexandra Hosp today to pay Nick a visit after his ACL op.
Was quite a heartwrenching sight, see him more emo than ever, and the only black-headed among the rest (which, on the other hand, probably makes him alot easier to spot ;) ).

If you see this, get well soooooon!

PS: I hate my monthly killercramps.
PPS: Feel, Phil.
Always remember.

With The Lights Out, It's Less Dangerous.

I cannot find the entry I once quoted Seef regarding the weather and how it affects our mood.
Something about the positive and negative ions in our body.
But whatever it is, I think consecutive days of thunderstorm really do bring people down.

A supposedly touch intensive week reduced to only one training thanks to the weather.
Felt kinda paradoxical about training being cancelled, cos we've yet to train together as a team for Sunday's match, and we were just informed of our playing positions. Sheesh.
If any consolation, I guess I don't have to worry about white mud-stained shirts, and my laundry being perpetually wet for the rest of the week? Heh.

Another touch intensive week to come, preoccupying myself with club, school matches, trainings.
God, take me to it to take me through it, please.

Seef popped by this evening, together with happy happy happy food from Goodwoodpark Hotel. (AHGONG ARE YOU JEALOUS!) Thank you, Bestie bestest friend for an awesome night. Love you to the Mooooon and back.

A photo from the leap year(:

Birdnuts, I'm sorry, and cheer up all rights.

"BUAY ZAI", She Said.

W&D this Christmas gift made me hallucinate about donuts.
HAHAA, I KNOW.

***

Training today was bad, BAD. The team I was on, though with only 2 seniors, got thrashed 5-1 by the other team. Holy, we were screamed at big time and were given second, third, fourth, 249703740 chances for tryline attacking to score but we simply never did.

Oh my, oh my, if this doesn't call for a panic attack, I don't know what else will.

Anyhows, friendly with the aS-Pee boys on Friday, aka last session to prove my worth before Coach makes the final cut. Hmm, hmm, HMMM.

It didn't rain today, give thanks for the great weather! =D
Our hockey girls put up an extremely good fight today against Eleven.
After a 10-1-10 game, we went into 3 Penalty flicks,
and 5 sudden deaths.

It was soo nervewrecking and exciting, I channeled my energy to spur the players on,
"GO RAEANNE!" was the catchphrase of the night. (She's the Goalie)

Unfortunately, we lost. (So, dear Roomie, you don't get to play!)
But to us, we won. (So cheesy) We put up a good fight and had more game play than usual.
Well done, Thirteen!

Melz came by inbetween the matches, "MOS DELIVERYYY!"
+ my orange "cheer-me-up" gift and Christmas gift.
THANKS MEL(((((((:
So that makes dinner = Mos apple pie + Mos strawberry milkshake + dumpling soup.
Mos apple pie = (Damn) HAPPY FOOD =D

I STILL WANT MY STARBUCKS!
CRAVING CRAVINGGGGGG.

I'm chairing meeting tonight, woohooo! Don't need to walk to faraway hallone! YAY =D

Back To The Middle Of Nowhere.

(Backdated entry again)

081207;

We had Asian Schools at aS-eh-AS (the school's so big we get lost everytime we try to find the washroom)I think I was trying to side step. Trying is the keyword.
Ps: That's the pretty ref that was late! Gina and her sweet/chocolate stash that day. I love ANYTIME mints! (Packet in the center)

Everybody say "Fre-DDOOOOO"888 for life! =D (they had a weird thing for my butt that day)
TEAM =D

Okay la, the only thing I remember from that day is that we got thrashed super badly by all the International Schools and we ate Freddos/Anytime mints like mad.
We got pretty burnt, and went home with a 20$ red shirt that helps us "act seh". Hahahah

---

As a team, I think we've pretty much travelled around the whole Singapore. From School to Bishan (cos we were at elLe-eFf-aS) to Woodlands (aS-eh-AS) and the IVP soon to Simei, we're practically covering all the different corners of Singapore.

Anyhow, Touch (day) Camp was yesterday. Analysed game videos, ate lunch together, learnt about injury management, and gym work. Hmm, then we had gift exchange where my gift was stolen =( And in return she chose ferrero rocher for me. =(((

But good thing I've true friends (FOR LIFE!), Angie sacrificed her chance to snatch something she wanted to grab my keychains back. YAY. Beijing 2008 keychains okay.

Training was ... I shall not disclose these private emotions. (Hah!)
It poured like mad, but since Carmen drove, we had dinner near C-ityH-arvest.
Touch and IH has basically been my life.
We train in the rain, we train in mud, we train with sandflies (and get damn badly bitten),
and one training, we saw the end of the rainbow. (Where's my pot of gold?)
We're basically going through hell alot of shit together, and gawd,
it's really mentally taxing.
But as Coach says, "it's either you crumble, or you step up."
Lord, I wanna step up. I trulymadlydeeply want to.

D and W came over since they had nothing to do. (I made them buy towels so they WILL shower)
And the first thing I said to W was, "eh you grew fatter!" HAHA
Shit, I'm so insensitive.

Anyhows, I casually asked them (like I do to almost everyone who comes over),
"Eh, my fan damn dirty, you wanna help me clean?"
W: "Okay lor!" (super willingly)
Then she takes a chair and realises, oops she's too short.
So D cleans it since she's the 169 one.

"Oei! You dirty my floor later you magic mop it okay! Since you too short to clean my fan, you can clean my floor. Short better, don't need to bend down so much."
And omfg she really cleaned my floor.
HAHAHAHA

D & W: I LOVE YOU BOTH MANY MANY.

Now my fan is clean I'm so happy, HAHA.
(sorry I forgot to bring my memory card reader home so no pictures!)

I feel stupid missing you.
