Champagne from a Paper Cup

Yesterday puts a full stop to my long tuesdays and thursdays every week,
and hectic rush from bugis to town twice weekly.
Though Thursday may still remain forever long and busy,
at least I no longer increase the risks of my lungs turning charcoal black.
2nd hand smokers are at much greater risks than smokers themselves.
(Talk about smoking, the quit smoking advert is downright gross and disgusting)

Goodbye cigarette smoke filled underground hideout, butt freezing seats and smelly "China-toilets" (quote, unquote some random woman). (and Ryan!!) HAHA.

It called for a celebration of liberation with BAGUS silken soft taohuay from Rochor Road (though the Hot one is undeniably better than the cold one) for supper, you tiao (which ought to be called oil sticks instead of dough sticks in English), and some time spent with bff and bf (haha) before I never get to see her twice a week anymore.
And the busride home where I bumped into Mr. Yoong, yoh! Funniest shit.

Oh, and their eggtarts are like YUMMY x94827593470

Ps: The 3 "guys" at work yesterday are the Telephone, the Fax machine, and the Dell Computer respectively. HAHA. I was just bored la, really.

A Life Of Happiness, Or A Life Of Meaning?

In chronological order,
(btw, the colour of my food is supposed to be RED, not tomyam orange)

Feel again, Phil.

Just two nights ago,
I nearly sprained my ankle.
But I didn't.

Just two days ago,
I nearly fell sick.
And now, I have.

-

I'm not exactly THAT sick yet, but I still need to prevent myself from falling any sicker,
cos next Wed is going to be a day of voice projection.

No idea if the computer can track what I'm doing right now,
but G just saw me online shopping with SIX Internet Explorer windows open. (What else can I be doing right.)

& I caught 300, two days ago.
Maybe because everyone (like literally, everyone) was telling me how good it is, I got my hopes up too high, I thought it was all right. Better than those average battle shows, but not like THEEE BESTTT. Or then again, maybe it was cos of the LOUSSSYYY facilities and the LOOOUUUSYYY service that got everyone's seats mixed up (they printed duplicate tickets, what cheaters!) and distracted everyone for the first 5-10 minutes of the show. >=(

And just yesterday, I finally braced myself (after like, 2 weeks?) to tell R my intention of leaving at the end of the month but he wants me to WORK FROM HOME if I'm too tired to travel. Reason being he's very comfortable with me. OMFG.
#1: I thought he hates me/ thinks I'm incompetent.
#2: I don't want to work anymore! Not even at home! It's so weird.
#3: I rather do something more productive like, give tuition and make bigger bucks! Or watching tv!!! (not exactly productive, but still.)
#4: SPPPAARREEE MMEEEEEEEEEE PPPLLEEEAAASEEEE!
(E, I hope you're seeing this since now you have SO MUCH FREE TIME)

I've not been home anytime before 11 this week (maybe that's why I'm sick)
aka I haven't spent time with my mom.
Not counting this morning's conversation, I haven't spoken nor seen her for 3 days. OMG OKAY.

And anyway,
I'm still really confused over Uni Courses but I'm slowly eliminating my choices.
WHYYY is it that all the people I'm talking to are either
a) TOO SMART for my own good,
b) have conflicting interest as I do, or
c) confusing me more.

DOES ANYBODY WANT TO DO MATERIALS SCIENCE WITH MEEEEEEE.

This is such a brainless, rubbish, time wasting (both mine and yours) ENTRY.
I just felt like taking up your time reading this,
and mine typing this.
SOOOOOOOOOO, I shall end mindless works with mindless actions- EAT.
Time for lunch break! =D

Finger Twist and Split.

Everything work-related I'm gonna post today would be a total contradiction to whatever I posted yesterday. You get the idea, so let's give the details a miss.
I'm sorry I'm sucha letdown, but Sup (soup, haha!) says "it's good you show your intention now."

I employed retail therapy today, and busted both mine, my Mom's and my Dad's wallets (for now, and the next month). And yes, I do feel quite bad.
I ought to start limiting my spendings while I try harder in convincing myself that I AM DONE. (though I don't believe shopping can be capped) and I swear it's hard to control.
I'm sorry Mommy, and Daddy, but thank you, both for funding my spendings today.

F and I had the new Double BaconChicken sandwich from Subway for dinner,
then later at OrangeTee we were offered food from their staff buffet (which was really yummy) and we ate despite being already filled.
Slacked my two hours today, calling Lesbo-

E: "Are you gorgeous?"
Lesbo: "HUH!"
E: "Are you from TAF?"
Lesbo: "No."
E: "Okay, then you are gorgeous!"

and playing a prank on D-

Nurse Chen: "Hello, may I speak to Ms. Ng please? ...(Blahblah).. You are pregnant! Congratulations!"

**

Today, I proved myself (once again) to be the most indecisive person.
E says I just wanted people to tell me, "Yes" and that was all that I wanted to hear.
I am indecisive because I am scared.
Scared of the future (aka what I am unsure of and cannot control), scared of my inabilities to cope, scared of my failure to adapt to changes, scared of regrets.
Indecision arises from uncertainties, but it's true why I should let someone decide my future just 'cos I can't decide on my own.

Yep, Quitting is a privilege! HAHA!

And the Joke of the day: "I bought an apple for 67$ today!"

Three Knocks On The Door, But No One Hears.

R: I never knew you were a left hander.
Me: Why? Are you a left hander too?
R: No, but they say that left handers are very talented people. So what's your talent?
Me: HUH! No talent, no talent. My talent is that I have none.

Elisa is vaccuum- ing Feiier's hair.
"I am now Halal" (not meant to be racist!)
(:

Promised myself I'd take a photo of this fountain just infront of the Gateway building, before I left. So here goes:

Over the past three days, I've learnt that
  • Jason is a really common name,
  • Hazels are very sweet people(:
  • 24th storey doesn't seem THAT high after all,
  • time really flies when you are occupied, no matter what you are doing.
The wind lately (maybe only over at Bugis) has been rather strong. So strong I somewhat feel swayed to a direction each time the wind blows . It's so strong, I can imagine myself being flung off my feet if I were any lighter. Scary, but I finally find peace in my weight. HAHA.

Piuzy is back from Indon, with a box of homemade pineapple tarts that melt in your melt, with L-O-V-E. (:If this entry were to be posted yesterday, I'd be whining about how hard FTT is. Like out of 10 etrials, I think I only passed 4. So naturally, any sane human would be panicking.
BUT I PASSED! =D WHEEEEEEEEEEE! So did Feiiers! So it's another 3, 4 more lessons til we finish Module 2.
And btw, I love my instructor today! =D

And now, Yongrui; Idol & Ken Cow CAN DRIVE!

Saw J****** Tan on the way home today. I'm unbelievable unlucky. And we were standing right infront of each other. OHMYGAWWD.

Ohwell, today marks the end of my FREEDOM, SOCIAL LIFE, WEEKLY TRAININGS and FRIENDS.
I look at my schedule, and I feel really helpless, I wish to alter it here to suit everything I have on hand, but I know that would be impossible.
I look at it and find the next best alternative, realising every alternative has its own disadvantages.
Right now, it's a matter of sacrifices, and a leap of faith- that absence shall make the heart grow fonder, and not weaker. And for now, every ounce of strength left will be put to its fullest use. Should relationships fall apart during this course of attachment, I'd know how solid/weak the foundation to what we thought both of us owned is.

Of course, I hope for nothing to change. But that would be as good as the Earth not rotating.
Holding on to whatever's left of every little bit, and every little one is gonna be hard.
More will slip, yet I feel with absence, some will grow stronger.
I think I'm making it sound like I'm migrating or something.
Omg, slap me. For tomorrow shall be the brand new transformation and interaction- with snails, dao kias and hopefully more like me. Hah.

To the many promises I've made, I will try my best to fulfil them.
Esp with D, cos I know how much it'd mean to you. And maybe to Me too, to finally be able to do something for you for all that you've done for me.
I'm writing this down, so that it'd serve as a constant reminder.

Ps: Tiffoos is getting braces! Welcome to the metal mouth world(:
Pps: Dear A (my girl), I hope you know that I'm gonna miss you alot now that I can't go for trainings, aka I can't see you aka I can't laugh AT you. ): Work starts at 5 on Wed for me. BOO.

Traditional, with a Brand New Touch.

My heels didn't give me any problem at prom,
but today they gave me two blisters, only when I was on my way home.
I'm like damn tmd pissed I'm posted to KAMPONG GLAM,
I muttered, wheredafuckisthat, when I was signing my attendance sheet.
I was honestly tempted to appeal for a nearer location, or maybe the one Ame is at,
but I told myself, to trust God and that he'd have something in store for me.
Despite the hostility among co-workers (let's hope it's cos it's the first time we're seeing each other) and terrible first impressions (snail alert), I am staying optimistic and I shall look forward to the hectic weeks of no-life life ahead.
I guess the good news is, I'll still be seeing E, W, and F at OrangeTee, faithfully each week. (maybe except for a few thursdays)
And of course, not forgetting Mr. Intimi-Seanlookalike-dating Ryan Lee.

-

Christabel quit working at Donut Factory just recently.
This officially ends my free donuts (on top of those I get) and queue jumping for ordering/collecting of donuts.
Well, there's still Sheila, but I didn't even remember her when she approached me 2 years ago during some random Touch Tryouts, so I do not deserve her help.
But looking on the brighter side, with CNY around the corner, and Bel now working for some Chinese Tea place, maybe Parents would want to get Chinese Tea (for any random reason) and I might still get privileges.

HAHA, I'm really, just kidding.

Some random photos:
Fireworks we saw right infront of us just before I left for Airport, and US at the airport. Sucky shot. ):

Swensen's.

Hmm.

IQ The Size Of A Ball-point Pen.

Read that off Table For Three, which Hr was reading just yesterday.
That book's rather entertaining, but it's sooo Singaporean.
Wtf does IQ the size of a ball-point pen signify anyway.
Hah.

Anyway, since Elisa has very honestly told me, "Eee your blog is so boring one. Because there are no pictures." (Wle, tmd. So hurtful. HAHA) I shall deliberately post an entry overloaded with photos. Blog worthy ones, of course. Maybe not to you, but to me at least. (Afterall, I'm the owner right! And these are my memories. Haha)

Let me try to organise my thoughts, and arrange the photos in Chronological order: (omgs, they are so messy and my thoughts are just as messed up with 2 different songs playing in the background)

ESTEE'S 19TH SURPRISE AT ICHIBANBOSHI/ESPLANADE; FRIDAY:

#1: Those from SA present
#2: mygirlmygirlmygirlmygirlmygirlmygirlmygirlmygirl!
#3: Because he's leaving for the army in a week's time (then), and he has left already.
#4: Attempted emo shot (Haha, I just forgot to turn on the flash okay!)

**

AMKhub/Fairprice Xtra On Sat with my Parents, plus ....I never ever want to be an Arts student ): It's soooo much work. Tooo much. At the end of the night, I was nearly cockeyed, and my fingers were red and sore from cutting, sticky from glue. Boo ):

No pictures of Sunday, only memories- I vaguely remember making a wasted trip down for a hair cut and cabbing from CTK to J8 (cab fare was 3$, so spoilt) for mini shopping(:
Oh, but I still can't conclude if I've grown or shrunk for the better.

Tues, I had a #^%*&*(%& driving instructor:

Me: "Uh, is it true that we have to pass both FTT and finish module2 before we can book our practical test?"

Him: "Yes, that's true. Because as students of the school, we want .. (all the bull shit)"

(Awhile later),
Him: "I can tell you're very eager to test your practical test.."

Me: "HUH?????? No?? I was ... (just asking for my friend)" [He didn't let me finish >=( ]

And, I met FGD too. Finally.

Wednesdays have become my favourite days of the week, cos it's TOUCH days! (:

Rushed down to Cityhall after training to meet BAO, where we walked from one Jap Restaurant to another, and Another, and Another before we settled down at Genki Sushi, simply because we were TOOO lazy to walk to Esplanade/ find another. Haha.

#1: Gross Greentea powder :\
#2: We wanted to take a photo of the food we ate/mess we created but the table was already half cleared
#3: (:

Thursday was Crabby day, where for old times' sake, we went back to Prince Cafe at Coro. And since it's for old times sake, we should eat the same thing right! So I had Fish & Chips again, Yay. The "old times" refers to the day, I had my braces fully tightened and in place, with all 4 molars extracted. 25rd Nov 2005, I think. Too bad we couldn't gather everyone who was there that day, back with us today.

And we popped by Island Creamery, also for old times' sake/Crabby's craving, but I was too full for anything and my fav flavour wasn't selling anyway. And we walked a few bus stops down instead of sitting down waiting! And guess who suggested to walk? Not meee! (:
(I think old times' sounds so YaKun. Haha)

At the bus stop: (I totally forgot I had my camera before this)

At Orange Tee:Elisa was being irritating that night. She scribbled (a long crappy paragraph) on my leads list but later, I realised I had rough paper so we started scribbling:

Firstly, she wrote LIAR.
Then I cancelled the R, put E before the word, and added an S inbetween the I and A.
That spells ELISA.

Then she wrote Asshole, and tried to be Cheena sooo, it became "en chi pi gu" (phil ass) and I added "de dong = wen bin" ('s hole = elisa)

OMG and I couldn't stop laughing. If you look clearly at the picture, you can see that I wrote, "You lose! Haha."

Oh yeah, I wanted to prank Hr, but something really funny happened. Elisa tried disconnecting the line, but it didn't. I couldn't stop laughing. The phone was ringing.

Hr: "Hello?"
Background: "HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA"

Then she grabs the phone and says, "HELLO! I AM PHIL!"

(Omg, okay, actually I think whatever I'm posting is so not funny, I'm like talking to myself.)

Nights like these are the BEST! When all your Managers (especially Mr. Intimidating Ryan) are absent, and phones are spoilt, AND AND AND, I get to strike off TWO PAGES (!!) of numbers! Woohoo.

So anyway, meet En Chi Pi Gu De Dong, And her new GAP Hoodie. (If you can see it)After work, we decided to go for a (FREEEE!) cable car ride!
(Okay, I have shakey hands ): And I didn't take a proper photo of the (breathtaking, hurhur) view!)

Though I was verysuperduper tired, I still went to help a lazy designer with his soon-to-be-due but no-where-near-completion work. And I am so un-arty la, why did he ask me to help him. )): He was stressed, and so was I, cos I was so scared I'd screw up his work. ):

(guess how much the tattooo costs!)

**

I barely caught any sleep, then I had to wake up for DENTAL (I missed Dr. Choo!)
CNY colours (so lame) this time, PLUS RUBBER BANDS.

I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ): I'm back on rubber bands. ):

))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))):
OWW OWW OWW OWW OWW OWW.

BUT ANYWAY, before dental, I had to bomb his home phone, and handphone (which was turned off) til he finally woke up. Grr.

He ate donuts,We visited (dearly missed) Ann at work,We changed our (old school) Nets to act cool poseur credit cards, We passed by KAY POH ROAD on the way to Town,
We ran in the rain from Lucky Plaza to Taka back to Paragon for DingTaiFung with the rest (where I had great difficulty eating)

Then we walked everywhere (like, really!) looking for a place to sit down and chill. Settled for Swensen's (there were more of us then) where we waited for a record time of 40 mins (or was it longer?) and we had ice cream. And as STUPID as it sounds, I am convinced cold stuff contract my braces, or rubber bands at least, or maybe my tooth such that it hurts MORE ):

Mr Army boy,

And a BEFORE/AFTER photo, as promised.

**

Today:

Classic moment for the day:
Estee: JACKNIVES! (In the most determined tone you can ever hear from someone lazy)
*Attempts doing one but goes, WAHHHH!!!! (In the most _______ tone)

I can't even find a word for the tone/expression. Not funny to you, but it was like LOL funny to us please. (Haha, Bella, LOL.)

We were itching so badly to play, we played 3 on 2 among ourselves, and dragged Ms. Soh in too. Coach is convinced "I am spoilt" because I am reluctant to come back for training if I were to alone. (grrr)

TANGYUANNN for lunch, where I had to bite it with my lips cos my teeth were obviously too weak, and I had the peanut ooozing out, which "really looks like shit!" (And on the way there, we were laughing about E and her "cry like pangsai" vs A's "cry pang sai") And S, A and I unknowingly sat there, talking for 2hours odd.

Brought A. for Fried Mars Bars and Cheese Sausage after that. We bumped into her dad(: Just as we were talking about him. Yanns met us, A left for home, and we just bumped around, shopping and (OMG ROONEY JUST SCORED A DAMN NICE GOAL!) slacking, catching up.

Dinner was Porridge, like duh.
And then I received the SWEEETEST msg I've ever received in ages, from D. Omg, if I was feeling emo, I would have cried reading it. (I bet you want me to cry right!) But too bad, I didn't. Thank you dear, it was really, really sweet. (:

I realise I didn't take any photos today at all ): Maybe cos my phone was dying.
This entry is so anyhow, I'm posting just for the sake of the photos, I know I'll end up editting this post somehow, someday.

--

I don't know if it's the braces, the fatigue, or simply me,
But I've been a little unfriendly, a little rebellious, a little sick, and a little frustrated lately.
My dad's been trying to take away what my mom granted me since I was 13, and of course I don't like the change. But I refuse to surrender it to him, and I do not intend to do anything. Sorry, I'm stubborn, but any attempts will just be futile, leading to more hostility, Dad.

Today, A. mentioned that she thought the older a believer you are, the easier it is to lose faith. Though I thought otherwise, it has hit me that,
it is somehow easier for new friends to become good friends, as compared to old friends becoming good friends again. Maybe it's the unhappy past either cannot forgive, maybe it's the lack of faith and fear of falling short of each other's disappoinment. Afterall, we are only human; once bitten, twice shy.

Cliche as it may sound, it takes two to clap.
But maybe clapping is too noisy, so we opt for silent movies instead.

(I posted this entry at 0327? omg. I neeed my sleep)
