Unpredictable.

I just read an email.
It had KARMA written all over it.
May WORLD PEACE follow after this incident.

****************

Over the weekend, Seniors' camp and Touch Attack happened.
The former took place on Saturday, at Sentosa. Despite the light shower and grey clouds looming, we carried on. We merely played six games with four
groups of very unsupportive, discouraging, RUDE, disobeying SENIORS who totally pissed me off (ok actually only ONE particular CGL) but before we reached the last segment I was already DEAD tired.

I suddenly fell silent and became 90% inactive and needed my name to be called out at least twice before I could respond. Ok, maybe it was the heat + hunger + dehydration + fatigue + angst + preparation that led to that but I'm so gonna die
on the actual camp. 6 days of this. Ohmymama, no wonder my fellow cp decided to sit down and play poker with satay sticks as chips.

Touch Attack on Sunday was crazyrushed. We ran the entire event with ONLY 10 people. And like I said in my emo sms, if I could do it all over again, I'd still choose this 10 people to run the show with me. Because they are the ones that cover one another's asses. They are the ones who will wake up bright and early to come help out. They are the ones who returned to school on a weekend for preparation. They are the ones who effortlessly did the job
of 3 people. They are the ones who, at the end of the day, sit down together with me, and reflect on the day's event.

Though there were many pre-event hiccups, we managed to pull through and it was awesome.
We fell short of our targetted teams by quite a bit but ultimately, finance is just a secondary objective.

Felt really surreal when it was over. How the month-long uncertainty built up to the week-long sleepless nights and intense concentration to do game & ref fixtures.
I will remember how I was crazybusy running up and down from the emcee tables to the three pitches; to play, to ref, or to collate score sheets for updates. I will remember how There's A Fire! gave their 101% in their games and in their sales of food/drinks. I will rememer how DearAshley shook hands and reminded opponents to "Buy our hotdogs". I will remember how yummy the hotdogs tasted! (They were so good I was still thinking of it late that night). I will remember how J.eannette holds a mic, a loudhailer, a stopwatch in one hand while the other lowers the volume of our music. I will remember the damned lightning
alarm and how we had to delay our games. I will remember how XP's math is much better than mine(: I will remember how much sh** A.ngela & Ek put up with know-it-all U20 teams. I will remember how Coach reffed til she had blisters in her feet.

At the end of the day, we received lotsa positive feedback, both from participants and teammates, even coach. And that made everything more meaningful than it already was. Indeed, everyone contributed to the success: my awesome teammates + coach, our awesome sports officer in charge, the participants, the refs.
Thank you all.
My sleepless nights, deteriorating eyesight, endless nagging have paid off.

Dear Yanns also left on Sunday morning for Hamburg and has reported to have landed without her checked-in luggages. But nonetheless, at least you're safe dear! LOVES!

Monday was the legendary Stars wars where my star planner hung and I managed to get a grand total of ZERO core modules. There were absolutely no slots left for any tutorial index and GO had made me call back "5 mins later" when I called.

Eventually managed to get the mods. Like M.ichael says, "seems like such a norm" now since we go through it every fcuking semester. Hur!

Tuesday, Date with Liangshitfavourite before Crabby's Disney-themed 21st!
Wednesday,
Itinerary after training:
-Ice spa with Valley Welly & a Goldfish
-Manicure/ pedicure lavender aromatherapy session with Ms A.ngela Yong

(as quoted from coach's email)
J.eannette and I went shopping; from Wheelock to Shaw to O.rchard central. Heehee
I went home and the heels of my feet hurt so bad :(

An extremely long-overdued meet up with the Bestie on Thursday,
and with the supposedly quarantined Ameliaaaa today!
Where we had sushi and 50 dollah mao shan wang durian!!!!!!!!!

I will keep getting better.

Fallen From Grace.

These scars we wear remind us
The more we change
The more we're all the same
Swept up in this emotion
We fumble through
and make the same
mistakes
Cause' we are led
To the edge

Carry me down
Roll it in your arms
Cause' I can't remember
Ever falling this hard

******

It has been quite a while since I hit this space.
I just had dinner with a 9 year old at the dinner table a few hours back. Watching her eat reminded me (and my mom) very largely of myself about a decade ago.
How I like my rice wet and my potatoes smashed; how I liked it when Mommy cut up chicken and pork chunks so I don't have difficulty chewing.
This 9 year old and I are not related, neither have we known each other for long. But we're close. She sleeps on my bed, hugs my elmo, wears my tshirts (which becomes dresses), tags along for my meeting and meetup, holds my hand when we're out, shares our favourites and secrets when we lie in the beds next to each other.
And I love her to bits(:

Been supercraving for durian/durian puffs lately all thanks to PrezAw.
Made S drive all the way to J.oochiat to get some which fell short of expectations (which were built upon the reviews). We were then enticed by the BKT which resulted in us getting a parking ticket... >=(

Today after a terrible friendly, we met KWANJIELING who is back from Indon for (less than) a week. =) It was just the usual 6 of us; whom I've missed much. But it was good time together. Felt no different from a sem ago where we gathered for CNY steamboat reunion/welcome Phil back from NZ/ HTHT dinner. As usual, we spent lotsa money on food, food and more food. A little bit on shopping, and forgot to take many pictures. But it was good happy time. Topped up the Happy juice. (: Yay.

Back to work tomorrow. =(

TwentyOne Wishes.

Roar. I hate it when my dad meddles with my lappy, he's erases my history and I've a hard time returning to websites I didn't bookmark previously.

The match yesterday was Bad, with a capital B. :(
After a two week break, my muscles really feel useless and my legs felt completely immobile. Response time was slow, and everything else was bad (passes, hands, angles)
We lost 7-5 so it wasn't a thrashing but I fucking let in the first touchdown.
I could find ten reasons/things to blame to make myself feel better for it but the one thing I cannot forgive myself is: I was caught in the position, which is not something I've never played before, so I should be doing what is expected of that position. But I didn't. I didn't pull my corners. Even if I did, I should have done so harder. But I didn't. I didn't make the correct-handed touches. I know I wasn't mentally switched on but nobody wanted to start either cos maybe they weren't psyched up yet, or maybe cos we were defending first. But neither was I and I knew that cost me. Argh, I'm so mad I cannot forgive myself. And I grazed my just-healed-knee again. I am going to buy vaseline.
If any consolation, I have awesome teammates who make up for my shit skills, thus the 7-5 loss.

Rushed home and grabbed my stuff to head down to P.unggol 24th Ave. Ultimate ulu-ness, it was at the end of the road, at the end of Singapore, just before the jetty. :\ Thank you Daddy, for sending me. We finished up decor and fruit hat making, bought more stuff (which we didn't use in the end)

Had Penguin dearest's 21st, Hawaiian style. (Hawaiian reminds me of Lilo & Stitch. Haha)
Plus a freaking expensive G.oodwood Park H.otel Durian Cake. I was telling S what people remember most about parties is the cake, so the $ was worthwhile, but he insisted otherwise. =(
Anyhoo, packed up after people started leaving (which took quite a long time) and drank a shot of Black Label on behalf of the Birthday girl getting saboed. Yup, and Black Label seriously sucks. The taste stayed in my mouth even after drinking fruit punch/orange juice.
All the way til we reached HK Cafe in East Coast, where my naicai+grass jelly tasted like Black Label the first few mouthfuls. EEEEEEEEEEEEWW.

And the HK Cafe reminds me of SEEEF. BESTIE I MISS YOU! Can't wait for you to end exams! (: Jiayou and Iloveyou!! :D

We're supposed to head down to JB for a day today. But guess not! :(
Boo!

Happy 21st, dear girl. (:

Dying Thoughts Of A Paper-Backed Writer (Wannabe)

{EDITED}
Hi, my life is mother boring.
More boring than words can describe.

So I shall not allow my lack of vocabulary to further emphasise my bored boring life.

Spent my Easter with 2 groups of people, the first, included one who woke up at 7:55am, when we were supposed to meet at 8am, but rushed down by 8:10 am. Amazing.

The second, was 2 people who refused to take photos with me, but allowed me to take photos of them. Weird.

---

Monday was dinner at BotakJones with Mr (soon to be) Botak (Jones)Wong.
I told you he's an Ahbeng. And we nearly got lost, hilarious!

----

Bao (- Seef) on Wed, when I called to ask where they were, I had the shock of my life, "Fish & Co".
Sorta objected so we went Crystal Jade (Yay, Chinese Food!), squeezed through Bugis St. minutes before it closed, with Alicia's classic, "Can I go to the toilet first?"
And holding up workers of Ice Monster cos we went at 22:08 when they shut at 22:00. Oops. But we helped them make quite a bit of business.

----

Impromptu lunch with the Patrick Star on Thursday, who braved the rain, and found her way to the "agar agar building" (Look like agar agar meh!). Yummy nasi lemak, plus milky-enough-Iced Milk Tea, and more walks in the rain. My brave pain-from-needles survivor!

---

Then dinner, with THREEOFUS,
#1: Hair-py with Hair.
#2: I'll let you figure what the picture is for, but hint: Don't look at us. The background's more interesting. Especially the backdrop of the person in the background.
#3: Ah Lian/Beng/Hui in the making, yoh!
#4: random
#5: The difference between a Dancer, a soon-to-lose-his-sanity armyboy, and an Athlete.
#6: Hungry. (Pong, you see that? NO SMOKING)

Food there was somewhat disappointing, but I'm willing to give it a second try. Haha.
But I hate Western! Shall wait for the craving.

---

This auntie damn slow! Called at 3:52pm saying she ended work, called at 4:40 something, "Oh I'm at Boon Keng already"
Pictures 2, 3, 4 are stages of our durian fest,
and we blasted 38$ on those 3 durians man.
The last picture is happyhappy durian smiles with durian shells!
All right, photo captions another day, I'm lazy.

The success of a younger generation, usually depends on that of the previous.

Because skills, experiences, advice, are usually passed down from one to another.
So when one fails, do you blame the failures,
or their mentors?

Is it their incompetence,
or the mentor's insufficient guidance?
Or worse, the mentor's over helpfulness.

We're sorry to hear this,
I really am.

The Sun is amazingly hot today! I like, I like!

I'm burping durians and tomyam soup, they taste like Peach Vodka.

I sold my N6680! I'm so lost without it, all my memos are written on scraps of paper, and my phonebook is empty!! (cos I'm lazy to copy it).
